The book signings were more than crazy. I never guessed that an author would have as crazy of fans as movie actors did. There were twitter fan pages started just for him, and I even had a few. I also had some hate fan pages as well. Some people took to my character in the book, and some downright hated me. Fan sent emails to us, and we opened them together at first, acting like it was Christmas. Still, after the fifth time of opening an email with a naked lady on it, we assigned someone to sort through it. "Didn't you get fan mail before this?" I asked after we had found someone.
"Yes, but never this much," he said, shuddering at the thought of it. I knew it all came down to Ian's look. He was a heartthrob anyone could tell, and we were the new couple on the block. I could tell from time to time the press and the tabloids wore on him, but we were never stronger.
On the last book tour before Christmas, Ian brought up where we would be at. "Where would you like to do Christmas this year?" he asked, holding my gloved hand in his.
"We could go to Florida to see your family? After all, we were with my family last Christmas." I say, looking up at him.
"How about this... We do Christmas Eve in New York together and then drive to the cabin and see your family on Christmas day?" I agree with this, knowing the holidays would be very different this year, just like they had the year before.
