THE GROUP HAD FOLLOWED CLARY TO WHERE SHE HAD SEEN DOT. Although they had seen no one around the club so far. Adelaide sighs as she stops, glancing around but she knew there wasn't going to be anyone. Dot was gone by now, she had to be. Clary was still running, her eyes frantically searching the area surrounding her. She wasn't going to give up because they didn't want to follow her.

"Clary stop." Jace says as he jogs after the girl, seeing no sign of anyone else. Clary just ignores him as she glances around, grabbing a hold of her necklace. "Where are you going?" He asks her but she only gasps as she shakes her head. Alec glanced over at Adelaide who only made a gun with her hand and pretended to shoot herself. He couldn't help but smile a little, shaking his head at her.

"Two circle members, the same ones who came to my house, who took my mom. They have Dot." Clary explains to him and he only furrows his eyebrows at her, not understanding what she was talking about.  "They're gonna hurt her, or kill her. We have to stop them!" She screams as she rushes around the corner to where she had seen Dot in her vision. Clary sighs, a saddened expression taking over her features as she realizes that Dot wasnt there. She wasn't anywhere.

"She was just trying to help me." Clary says as she notices everyone had caught up with her. "And now she's gone." Her eyes drift to the floor as she couldn't help but think this was all her fault.

"Clary, I'm sorry." Simon says as he rubs the girls shoulder. Adelaide licks her bottom lip, running her hand through her ponytail.

"I think you did see Dot, just not present time. Or they took her by the time we got here." She explains to the girl and Clary had figured that was what must've happened but it didn't mean she liked it.

"You don't understand, Dot's like my big sister." Clary tells them and Alec could care less as he glances around the club, not liking how it was so abandoned.

"It's not safe here." Alec says as he moves closer to the group, catching their attention. "We have to go back to the institute right now." He tells them and Clary only scoffs, glaring at the man who was just giving up so easily.

"So, what now? Valentine has my mom and Dot, we're just gonna give up?" She asks and no one says anything because they knew that Clary wasn't going to like the answer. "What about my memories? They can't just be gone." Clary suggests as she knew she could somehow get her memories back. Jace tenses, his eyes glancing to the others as he did have something in mind but he knew they weren't going to like it.
