The sun is starting to really set and you can see the golden hues peeking through the boarded and barred windows. You've just finished showing Clementine how to sharpen her knife, cheering her on when she started to get the hang of it, though you obviously didn't pass up the opportunity to grab her hands and show her how to angle them the first few times.

Eventually, you both started talking about random things, mainly to distract yourselves from the nerves of how you'd have to go get your friends back soon. But that eventually wasn't even needed as you both found yourself forgetting the world around you.

It's only when there's a knock on the door that you both break apart, standing up curiously when Violet opens the door.

"What's wrong with AJ? I saw him out there looking upset," she asks curiously, shutting the door behind her.

"He just... needs some space," Clementine sighs out.

Her eyes widen when she sees you both holding hands and you can visibly see her force her smirk back. "Shit- was I interrupting you guys-"

Clementine shakes her head, "No it's fine, we were just finishing up anyway."

Violet looks at you for confirmation and you simply nod with a grin.

"I just wanted to talk about what happened today with someone... and you two seemed like the best bet."

"That's fine, what's wrong?" you say gently, noticing the sad look on her face.

"The thing is... seeing Minnie- I feel like it should've scared me. But it didn't," she sighs out, walking to the dresser. "The person we ran into in the woods, that wasn't Minnie, not really. The way she sounded, and acted... the way she talked about Sophie, and Lilly. I'm confused I guess."

"You know you can't trust her, right? She's been with those people for over a year," you grumble, crossing your arms.

"It's not Minnie's fault. The raiders just got into her head," Clementine says.

"It sucks, but it doesn't change anything. I guess... well I don't know what else I expected." She stares at the plant that sits on the dresser. "Minnie- the real Minnie- she's gone. She's been gone this whole time, and I... have to stop mourning her."

She turns to you both. "I won't let her take you guys, or AJ. Or anyone else I care about."

"Louis knows when to keep his head down," Clementine says.

"Yeah, shit. I hope so," Violet mutters. She leans against the dresser. "You know, when I first got here, I hated him. He was so... much. You know? He walks into a room, and it's like,"Look at me! Watch me perform!" It's so stupid."

You both chuckle a little at her mocking him playfully. She continues talking, "But then I realized, under all he... he really cares about people, and he doesn't just feel it, he says it. He'll tell you every goddamn day how much you mean to him. Shit, he'll probably sing about it."

"Especially if there's already a famous song with your name in it," Clementine says with a chuckle.

"I won't lie... I miss hearing the piano play in the mornings," you admit.

Violet looks down for a moment. "We've gotta get him back."

"We will. Louis, Omar, Aasim. We'll get them all back," you reassure her, making her smile.

"See I'm such an amazing sibling," you say with a smirk.

She groans, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You're never letting that go, are you?"
