"Teleporting, teleporting, teleporting" I muttered under my breath as I ran my finger along the books that lined the library shelves. I could hear a faint shuffling noise behind me, clearly whoever it was was trying to sneak up on me and doing a rather poor job of it.

I continued running my finger along the spines of the books pretending as if I hadn't noticed and then in one swift motion I grabbed one of the particularly large books and threw it at the attacker. "Mira!" Shouted my eldest brother as he sort of oddly lunged and dove out the way all while somehow remaining on his feet.

"Brother?" I asked in horror, what the hell was going on? Thor, in the library? Either someone had just died or Thor had completely given up on life. "What was the book for?!" He shouted back. "You were being too quiet! And what in the AllFathers name are you doing here, your deathly allergic to books, I should never be able to forgive myself if something happened to you" I taunted back acting as if I was ever so concerned.

"Sister do not jest at a time like this"

"A time like this? What's happened, the fact that your in a library is still alarming of all things" I paused and looked him up and down before leaning forwards and slightly hushing my voice, "Oh dear Allfathers, Loki?" Thor immediately turned his head and began looking around the room frantically. "Loki? Where is he?" He asked startled

Damn, clearly I got my hopes up there, "Odin above, Thor, he's not here" I spoke to Thor slowly like a toddler until something actually dawned on me, "And speaking of our brother wasn't he to appear before Father today? What was said?" I asked turning my back on Thor and sifting through some of the books. My brother's long pause clearly indicated that something was off, "Thor"

Just that, all I said was his name. I turned back to him to then see him looking at his feet. In a way that was enough of an answer for me to know that Loki had been placed in the dungeons, then with a perfectly monotone expression and tone I asked, "How long?"

"As long as you could imagine sister" I took a moment to pause taking in what Thor had just said, "Oh that backstabbing, hypocritical bastard!" I screamed as I made my way towards to the two heavy doors leading to the corridor. "Sister" Thor cautioned but I completely ignored him, I went to pull on the handle to the door but it would not budge. I tried the other door's handle but also, nothing.

"Brother why are the doors locked?" I asked as I slowly turned back around to face him. "You would've went to see him" He replied back sadly. "Well, yes, that's sort of the point. Now have the guards unlock it. They shall never listen to a request from me after you have given one"

"You are not to see him Mirabella, do you understand?" Mirabella? Full name and I haven't even done anything. "Explain. Now"

"Father has forbidden it, you are not to see him" I just stood there in shock, frozen and sick to my core. I could barely string together all of the thoughts that were running rampage around my head. "So Father has simply declared that we aren't to see or hear from our brother again and you are what, perfectly agreed and okay with this?"

"Well perhaps if you were not always such a lying and deceitful princess who earned Father's favour, such as myself you would be able to see him!" Where the hell had that come from?! My brothers eyes widened in shock, clearly he had not meant to say that. "Say that again"

"Mira I do not see fit to repea..."

"SAY THAT AGAIN! If you meant it say it again, you've already said it once what is the harm done in saying it again?" I asked quickly, the words spilling out from my mouth in a quick and furious current. Thor remained silent but held my gaze, improvement I suppose. I regained my face's monotone expression and managed to speak through gritted teeth. "I have done nothing apart from being Odin's little perfect princess and you know fine well that is the truth too. You do not comment or say anything because Father's ways suit you, Thor Odin's-most-prized-asset Odinson. But do you really think you have earned his favour?"
