"That's the guy my Dad never shut up about?"
Hopping up onto the table yet again and finding my page in my book I replied, "Well I'm afraid I've only been on your planet for around a week in total so I'm not entirely sure"
"I'm wondering if they shouldn't've kept him on ice" Now that's a bit harsh even for me, "The guys not wrong about Loki, he does have the jump on us"
"What he's got is an Acme dynamite kit. It's gonna blow up in his face and I'm gonna be there when it does"
"Hey!" I shouted from across the room, "Nobody is killing my favourite brother thank you very much" Stark just scoffed not looking up from his screen, "I mean come on, Point breaks worse than the Gollum?"
"Excuse me?"
"Oh my god, this kids killing me, would blondie be happy hearing that?"
"Well of corse not, that's sort of the point, and it wouldn't be something he doesn't already know" I kept glaring daggers at Stark as he still looked down at his screen, Banner tried to diffuse the tension, "Yeah, I'll read all about it"
"Uh-huh" Stark said appearing as if he wasn't listening, "Or you'll be suiting up with the rest of us" Banner chuckled but all I was thinking about was the fact that he said the rest of us, I wasn't actually expected to fight Loki was I?
"Nah you see, I don't get a suit of armour. I'm exposed, like a nerve, it's a nightmare" The mood in the room tensed and I was not ready for this at the moment. "Excuse me" I mumbled, hopping off of the table and throwing my book to one side. As I hopped down I conjured myself out of my grey sweats into plain black leggings, black tactical boots and a plain black shirt.
I walked out the room and went back into the corridor trying to find Thor. It may not be Loki who was controlling or using Loki, but none the less he was my brother and I refused to fight him or cause him harm.
When I spotted Thor he was talking with Agent Coulson and they were hunched over one of the S.H.I.E.L.D computer screens, "It's no accident, Loki taking Erik Selvig. I dread what he plans for him once he's done. Erik is a good man"
"He talks about you a lot" Then Agent Coulson noticed me and added on, "You too"
"Am I supposed to be flattered? I would introduce myself but I believe we've already met. If I remember correctly you had just threatened to torture information out of me and my brother yes?" Coulson turned white as a sheet and Thor stood up straight and cautioned, "Mira. Not now"
I stared at Agent Coulson for another three seconds before I burst out laughing, Coulson looked at Thor for a little help but Thor just smirked as he realised what I was doing, "I'm simply jesting Agent Coulson, you need not take everything so seriously. Although....technically I'm not wrong"
"Mira!" Thor exclaimed and punched me lightly in the shoulder, "Okay okay!" I replied putting my hands up in fake surrender. Agent Coulson chuckled to himself then continued, "You both changed his life, you two changed everything around here"
"They were better as they were, we pretend on Asgard we are more advanced but we come here, battling like Bilgesnipe"
"Like what?"
"Bilgesnipe, you know, huge, scaly, big antlers, you don't have those?"
"Clearly not brother if he requires your over animated explanation"
"Yeah, yeah I don't think we do, no"
Thor began walking towards the window whilst me and Agent Coulson stayed behind letting him have his moment of reflection, "Well they are repulsive. And they trample everything in their path, when I first came to Earth, Loki's rage followed me here, and your people payed the price. And now, again. In my youth I courted war"
"Like you would not believe" I whispered to Coulson stood the left of me. "The war hasn't started yet" A voice from above us called, "You think you could make Loki tell us where the Tesseract is?"
"I do not know, Loki's mind is far afield. It's not just power he craves, it's vengeance, upon me. There's no pain would prise his need from him" I would be a fool to say that wasn't correct, Loki absolutely despised Thor at the end back on Asgard. "Yeah a lot of guys think that till the pain starts" Oh no, guy with an eye patch is back.
"What are you asking me to do?"
"I'm asking, what are you prepared to do?"
"Loki is a prisoner" That he was but I could tell that Fury was trying to get somewhere with this so I walked forward to be closer to my brothers side. "Then why do I feel like he's the only person on this boat who wants to be here?" Thor blinked a few times trying to think but suddenly it occurred to me, clear as day, "Because he does"
I took a pause and spoke carefully, if I said this in the wrong way I would sound as crazy in the director's eyes as he saw Loki, "Banner. I believe I heard Stark talking about a green rage monster, sounds rather dramatic and something that my brother would like." I paused and coldly stared back at the director, clearly he didn't believe a word I was saying. The more time I spent around him the more he reminded me of my Father. Hence I began liking him drastically less.
"Well if you do not believe me send one of your agents in, Romanoff perhaps?"
"Well your clearly chummy with him, why not you? Too scared of your own brother?"
"With all due respect director, and by saying that I'm saying that for politeness only I really don't mean it. But sending me in would be a huge mistake. Loki taught me everything I know about interrogations, he knows every tactic and he knows how to get under my skin, send me in and he will only become ten more steps ahead of you." With that the director stood up straight and began walking off somewhere and shouting orders around to random agents.
