After the whole ordeal by the docks we were carrying the malfunctioning robot into KJ's workshop. As we entered I noticed how similar her set up was with my KJ.

A long rectangular table that was stacked with parts, unfinished projects, papers, blueprints, her laptop, and some trash from fast food.

We placed KAY/O on her office chair then KJ cleared her throat.

"So I will be working on getting whatever was behind KAY/O's malfunction, I would need an assistant" Raze razed (HA get it?) her hand "OH OH PICK ME PICK ME!"

KJ sighed then shook her head "Not you, not after what you did last time in here" Raze pouted then fake cried, KJ threw a can at her which hit her head making wince in pain "Jeez, you could've just said stop" Me and the others chuckled.

As Raze and KJ started bickering back and forth. Neon then walked towards me and placed a hand on my shoulder "Don't worry dude, we promise to have your back. I promise to have your back, always" I smiled towards the blue haired radiant and nodded "Thanks sparky" She nodded and then left to talk to Jett.

I saw Jett look at me then laughed as she looked at Neon, Neon however was annoyed and turning red. Phoenix then approaches me.

"Hey bruv" He offered me a high five which I did accept.

It was still weird being friends with radiants, especially Phoenix, I did have bad experiences with his double.

"Hey, what's up?" He pulls me aside. "So just gonna put that out there, you seem to have an effect on people." I then cross my arms "What do you mean?"

"Well you see Neon doesn't just talk to anyone. But she seems to be fond of you, ya know?" I the looked at him confused "Are you suggesting that-"

"What about you Y/N? He is your friend, you might know a thing or two?" KJ said as she handed me a wrench.

Me and Phoenix looked at each other then he just nodded with a smile "We'll talk about it later" then he walked away I then looked at KJ.

"Uh..sure?" KJ smiled, "Excellent, we can start right away"

The others then turned to the door and left us, rather quickly may I add, except Neon who stood by the door frame for a bit and looked at us. I turned to look at her and she gave me a small smile then she left.

I honestly don't know what that is about.

Phoenix can't be serious about what he said right?

I mean she is cute but, come one I don't really think it would work out.

I still can't get over my KJ..and I don't think I can move on.

"Hey" KJ then throws a paper ball at me, snapping me out of my trance "I've been trying to get your attention for a minute now, you okay?" She crosses her arms as she looks at me with concern.

"Yeah I'm good" I softly smile at her.

"Did Phoenix say something to you? If it bothered you I can have a word with him" She held her screwdriver with what i would say Mad Scientists vibes "Bastard still owes me new parts for my turrets"

I laugh nervously and wave my hands dismissively "Nah not really, so shall we get started?" She nodded and smiled "Ja lets do it" She then grabbed another chair, sat on it and began to work on KAY/O.

"So tell me about her," KJ said as she was unscrewing KAY/O's chest plate.

"Who?" I walked up to her and handed the wrench, she took it and thanked me "You know, your KJ" I sighed as I carefully removed KAY/O's power core.
