After the Worst

Klara, your Klara looks you in the eyes. "Empire happened." You were still baffled, unsure of the situation. But she's here, your Klara, the same one that died in your arms. How could she be here? Your hold on her hand tightened as she gave you a soft smile. "I watched you die...If I knew you'd be alive-" Klara held her hand to you and shook her head "No Y/N, i really did die." You looked at her confused. Klara sighed then looked at KAY/O "Good to see you Brim." KAY/O nodded while everyone looked at the robot confused "More on that later." Said Klara. You held her hand once more while looking at her. "Klara, please tell me everything." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She looked back at you and saw tears forming in your eyes. She clicked her tongue as she wiped them away. "Alright, I'll tell you, all of you." She looks at everyone in the room. "Here's the story on how I was experimented on, used and mistreated like a labrat. Here's the story of how Empire made me into this." She twirled her fingers as you looked at her. A small smile in her eyes as tears trailed down her face. You wiped her tears then smiled at you, Tala and the other Klara had their hands on your shoulders as they smiled at Klara.

"Let me begin where it ended."

I remember saying those words to you Y/N, I remembered the look on your face, the tears that were escaping your eyes as you reached out to me.

I wasn't sure you'd make it....but i hoped for the best. Then I felt the pain of the knife of Jett slicing my throat. My throat burned, it felt hot, I could feel my blood spewing out. I felt my life escaping out of me. It felt cold, but I could feel some sort of weight on me. I assumed it was you, holding me while I was passing. It gave me relief like I wasn't gonna die alone. I thank you for that, I really do. I treasured that moment, like I did with all our moments we had together. I felt at peace.

Then She happened.

Location: Earth 2, Kingdom RnD Facility
Time: 6:00 pm

Klara's pov

I couldn't see anything, all I could see was dark. But I felt something, like I was under water, yeah I think I was. It felt like I'd been there for a long time. Then my eyes began to open, I could see all around me, I was in a tube, scientists were checking different computers. My eyes widened, I began to move my body trying to get out of the tube, then I felt a shock. My body felt numb. I couldn't move my arms nor my legs. But I could still see. I saw Nora with her wicked smile looking right at me.

"Initiate Hatchling Protocol" She turned to the scientists and they all nodded. Lights began to flicker in the tank as I felt the water being drained below me. My body was not just laying there as I looked up at Nora. She cups my face as she smiles at me "You will be my greatest creation yet." She then lets go of me, making me hit my face on the floor. "Prep her for Operation Charge." I felt hands grab me as I was dragged into another room then black.

Location: Earth 1, Valorant Base, War room

Time: 3:00 pm

As Klara finished her story everyone looked at you and her. "And that's it, that's all I could remember. When I came to, I was being saved by you." She smiles at you softly and you return the smile. Before anyone could say anything a loud boom shook the room. Brimstone pops out his display and checks through the security feeds however each time he switches to one his eyesight worsens temporarily. "The hell.." Viper notices what's happening and walks up to Brim. "You okay?" He shook his head "Something's messing with the cameras" He groaned "And it's messing with my eyes." Viper pulled out her security feeds and the same thing happened to her. Cypher looks over to the two, his eyes widen as he pulls out his gun towards them both. Chamber, Earth 1 Valorant team saw this and aimed at Viper. Sova, not knowing what the two are doing, quickly drew his bow.
