"Wait what?"

"Morning." Said Charlie as he came out of his room.

I was just watching Goodfellas until I heard our last name being mentioned.

"Hey Charlie, I think I just found our dad." I said. "What? On TV?" He said, coming back from the kitchen with a bowl of cereal in my hands.

He sat next to me on the couch and looked at the screen.

Henry Hill says, "What? You're gonna fight with Jimmy Conway?"

"No way." He said. "I know! Our dad's a freaking Irish-Italian gangster. Not even a made guy yet people respect him." I said.

"A made guy?" "A guy the mafia approves. Like, they trust you so much, they make you a part of the mafia." I said.

"Wow. Jimmy Conway, a gangster and yet his 'children' only play hockey and can't even be as smart as he is." Said Charlie.

"Well, I got his anger though." I said pointing at the screen for Charlie to see Jimmy choking a guy cause he didn't give him his money back.

"Oh, now that you really got." Said Charlie.

Our mom came back home from getting groceries and saw us watching the movie.

"What are you doing? This is not for kids!" She said and quickly switched the TV off.

"Ma, that was our dad!" I said. "What?" Said said, shocked. "He had the same last name as ours! Conway, his name's Jimmy Conway!"

"Very funny, you don't watch this type of violence." She said. "Ma, we play hockey! We gotta learn the violence from our father!" I said.

"Okay, stop talking about that gangster movie and help me put in the groceries, you two." She said.

"Looks like mom is scared that we have a gangster for a father." I whisper to Charlie.

"Man, I'd be happy to be Robert De Niro's kid. That would be absolutely awesome." I said.

Yes. I watched Goodfellas and Robert De Niro plays a guy named Jimmy Conway. I was absolutely shocked. He was smart yet brutal and he wasn't a made guy cause he's got Irish blood.

Anyway, enjoy this short story that kinda sucks.
