"Y/n, it's getting late! We should go!"

"Oh come on, can't you just have a little fun for once?" I said. "I always do but I'm not in the mood to have fun because I am extremely tired, my love. Now get off the ice." He said.

"Wait, I gotta show you something. Put my walkman, play the first song and watch me." I said. "Okay, but after that, that's it." He said.

"Yeah, yeah, now put 'em on and when I give you a thumbs up, play it." "Shouldn't you be hearing the music too?" "I already know the beat." I said.

I then skated to the middle of the rink and posed. I gave Charlie the thumbs up and I could see him click on the walkman.

I then show him my hidden talent. Figure skating. Been doing it for years and I never told anyone in the team.

Doing the same routine I had the first time I won first place in a competition.

Right after, I was finished and tired. Very tired. I skated back to Charlie and he was starstruck.

"You were a figure skater?" He asked. "Ever since I was 12."

"Why didn't you tell us?" "Didn't feel like it and I never had a reason to." I said. "Well, that was insanely beautiful."

"Yeah, I won first place with that routine."

I then, tried to walk but I felt lightheaded and fell into Charlie's arms.

"Y/n, are you okay? You look pale!" He said, carrying me to the benches.

"No, it's alright. I probably skated a bit too much today. Mind taking me home?" I asked. "Not at all, my lady." He said

And again, I almost fainted and fell but Charlie caught me right on time.

"My god, we should get you to the hospital or something." He said. "No, it's useless. Besides, they already know." I said.

"Know what? How could they know?" He asked.

"Charlie, I'm not gonna tell you this the easy way because there isn't one." I started.

"I was a figure skater for a long time and it's a very hard sport and it is supposed to look elegant and pretty but I act nothing like elegant and pretty ever since I injured myself during a competition. I broke a few bones but I'm fine now." I said. "Ever since I got healed, I couldn't go back to figure skating and the doctors said I should choose another sport where I could release my anger."

"I still love being on the ice so I chose hockey." I said. "But, turns out my anger got worse and it effected my brain a lot."

He was speechless and seemed sad.

"So, are you okay now?" He asked, worriedly. "Charlie, I'm dying." I said.

He slightly stepped away, shocked.

"Why didn't you tell me this? Or the team? We're your friends!" He said.

"I did want to, Charlie. But everytime I wanted to, I chicken out because I'd hate to have you guys worry about me." I said.

"I'm sorry, Charlie."

He didn't say anything. He just hugged me and I knew he was crying.

"I really do wish I could've said it earlier so we'd have more time together." I said.
