"Why?"

"Why what, Germaine?" I asked. "Why do you have to flirt with Banks everytime you guys see each other? Why do you two have to flirt? Literally in any situation." He said.

"So what? You jealous?" I teased. "Literally no! It's just annoying the whole team."

"Oh, just ignore us. We'll get over it." I said. "Uhh, just date already, honestly. I couldn't care anymore because we want it to be over faster." "Shut up, Guy."

I then see Adam return from the restroom and sit back down next to me, giving me his flirtatious look.

"So, how were your classes?" I asked. "You know, it's never fun." He said. "And why's that?"

"You're not there." He said and I smile. I could see in the corner of my eye, Julie and Goldie gagging while they saw me and Banks.

"Well, I'm here. How do you feel now?" I said, lightly caressing his shoulder. "So much better." He said.

Our faces were inches apart and they always usually are, but we've never kissed each other in front of anyone. Only looked into each other's eyes and lips. Feeling each other's hot breath.

Then, Connie showed up, with Charlie and she wrecked the scene by slipping in between me and Adam.

"Yeah, were not gonna have that here." She said, sitting next to me and Charlie sat between Adam and Connie so I'm more farther apart from him.

"Sorry Y/n. You can be platonic another time. Or maybe even be an actual couple so you could stop flirting and get used to each other. Just, never during lunch, people are eating." Says Charlie as he takes a bite out of an apple.

I rolled my eyes at them and scoff. "You guys are annoying." I said. "Well, at least I'm not flirtatiously reading out my love poems during the time people eat." Says Connie.

"Really. Just ask each other out and get it over with." She said.

"Y/n, hurry up okay? I'm gonna head out first." Says Connie. "Yeah, I'll be there in a bit." I said then Connie left the locker room.

I had planned to stay in the locker room for a while before I head out because I was waiting for Adam.

Then the door opened. "Oh yeah, I just forgot something. I'll be back." He said to one of our teammates and enters the locker room and shuts the door.

We look at each other eye to eye.

"They finally want us to be together!" We both cheered and hugged.

"Oh god, after 2 years, Geez!" I said. "I know! Oh, I can't wait for their reaction when we tell em' we're together!" Said Adam.

Adam and I did not look good together. We knew if we just did go along and dated publicly, we'd get a bad rep because I'm just a country girl and he's a city rich boy. We didn't care what people would think, we cared about what our friends would think.

They never saw us as a couple, ever. We asked them almost one by one if we'd look good together and most of them said no. The rest said they didn't know or couldn't care less.

So, this was a big moment for us even though we've dated for the two years.

"Oh my god. I really can't wait to tell them. We should go now. Coach'll be looking for us." I said.

"Yeah. Wait, one more thing." He said, stopping me.

He gavee a peck on the lips. "I wanted to do that earlier." He said.

"Oh I know. Me too. Let's go now." I said, dragging him out of the locker room.
