"Oh, thank God you're here."

"Well, I need to be here. I'm finally done with high school! Why would I miss the show?" Said Russ.

"I'm really scared for my speech." I said, trembling. "Hey, hey, it'll be okay. It will change everyone's lives and make parents cry." He said to cheer me up.

"Oh my god, I can't believe we're finally done being kids..." I said. "Well, I'm just happy were outta here. I can't stand this school. I'm just here for the scholarship." He said and we laughed.

"Now a speech from Y/n Y/l/n." Says Mr. Buckley.

"There's your turn. Now make your parents and yourself proud. Make me proud!" He said, making me smile.

I exhale sharply, "Okay, I got this. Wish me luck." I said then went on the stage.

Russ went to the audience with the other kids and I stood in front of the microphone.

Right then and there I was sort of nervous but I had to say something or else I would've just embarrassed myself.

I spoke the words I had rehearsed and as I kept talking, it got easier and I felt more confident. Russ was giving me thumbs up along the whole speech.

After my speech, the audience claps and I shook hands with Mr. Buckley.

"Thank You, Y/l/n." And he continued to say some other stuff as I got off the stage.

The students were lining up to be announed by Mr. Buckley to get their diploma and all that stuff.

Russ runs up to me.

"You did it! I am so proud of you! You feel good?" He said, "I feel great! Better than before, really. Thanks for... Being there for me, I couldn't have done it without you there. I cannot live without Russ Tyler's support." I said.

He smiles and we hug.

"Now, let's line up. I need to get outta here!" He said as we laugh.

After we got our diplomas and all, we met up again.

"Graduation bitch!" We both exclaimed.
