|❁ Wanda's Friends. ❁|

To say Wanda was excited to see Natasha again was an understatement

She finally had someone to talk to that wouldn't have that classic sympathetic look in their eyes, even if they were talking about something completely different.

Yes her kingdom has been kind and supportive through the time of her parents death but it is nice to have someone who doesn't treat you like a vulnerable little girl who will cry every two seconds. It gives Wanda this sense of relief that not everyone feels sorry for her and that at least someone still thinks of her as a normal person.

Wanda had also looked in her library for the book Natasha was reading. She found it and placed it on her bedside table in order to read it later on.

Currently she was in town so that she could get a loaf of bread. She didn't want the maids doing all the work after all.

"Ah good to see you again Wanda." The baker said with a kind smile. He was always happy, and said he wanted to brighten others' days and make the world a better place.

"Good to see you too Mr, Barnes."  Wanda greeted him. Bucky laughed and rolled his eyes as she looked at the selection of bread he had made today.

"Nonsense, call me Bucky." Wanda looked at him and sighed.

"I don't want to be rude Mr Barnes." She smirked.

"But calling me Mister makes me feel old. And I don't want to be old."Bucky pouted. They both laughed.

Wanda picked out a loaf and paid, she tipped him fifty percent of what she owed. He smiled gratefully at her.

"Since you're so generous today, have a cupcake. Your highness." Bucky bowed to her, cupcake in hand. She laughed and took it.

According to the town, Bucky's cupcakes were the best. Only one would disagree and that was through humour.

"Why thank you kind sir. Have a lovely day." She bobbed a curtsey to him and left, hearing his laughter as she exited.

Next on her list was Steve's Painting shop.

She entered the small corner shop, immediately being greeted with bright colours and a familiar smell of lavender.

"Queen Wanda, how are you?" Steve asked.

"I'm not Queen yet Steve." Wanda laughed.

"You'll always be queen in my eyes Wanda." He smirked. Wanda grimaced at him.

"Practising your flirting so you can flirt with Tony aren't you?" She asked. A grin formed on her face as she watched Steve turn a shade of bright red.

"W- what. Nooo" He said sheepishly. His face was hot with blush and embarrassment.

"Whatever you say Stevie." She winked. "So any new paintings?"

"Well I did make one of the streets and walk way to the castle. The flowers were beautiful so I couldn't help myself." Steve pointed to the newest painting in the shop.
