|❁ Wanda's Coronation ❁|

Today was the day. The day Wanda would become queen of her kingdom.

She hated it. It was just bigger confirmation of the fact that her family was dead.

The past month was easy on her. Her friends are helping her with grief and giving her other things to focus on.

She wore the same elegant golden coronation gown as her mother and the same small tiara as her mother which would then be exchanged for the Royal crown of her kingdom.

The maids fussed over her outfit, hair and makeup. They had to make sure she looked perfect for her crowning ceremony and the kingdom ball afterwards.

Sarah kept Wanda company whilst the rest of their friends decorated the ceremony hall, with the help of maids and butlers.

Once Wanda was ready she stared at herself in the mirror. She examined every feature and the way she looked.

It was as if she was a copy of her mother. The dress, the soft features, the auburn hair. Even their smiles were the same. The only difference was Wanda's eyes, she had her father's eyes.

Sarah smiled as Wanda looked at herself in the mirror. She placed a comforting hand on Wanda's shoulder.

"You look great. Your mother would be proud of you and the queen you will become."

Wanda smiled and turned to her friend. Her eyes had teared up happily with fond memories of her family and how proud they would be to see her now. Sarah wrapped her arms around Wanda in a comforting hug.

"I look just like her." Wanda mumbled into the others shoulder.

Sarah smiled and placed a kiss on top of Wanda's head.

"I know." She whispered.

They pulled apart from each other and smiled fondly. Sarah wrapped an arm around Wanda and turned her back towards the mirror.

Smiling widely, she said. "Let's go become the queens we are."

They both laughed before following two guards and the main butler out of the room.

The coronation hall was filled with traditional banners that had the kingdom's flag on it. People were sat in multiple rows of benches, they wore formal clothing of all different colours.

Sarah went in first, joining her brother in the first row.

Wanda took a deep breath before walking out, two guards following behind her to keep her safe.

She saw her friends smile at her warmly. She smiled back before reaching the front of the hall.

Once everyone was settled the ceremony began.

"Wanda of Bloomington, do you promise to protect your kingdom through war and drought." The archbishop started. Wanda slightly nodded along to their words. "Do you promise to help those in need and to lead your kingdom in happiness and peace, to be kind and considerate to all."

Wanda agreed and bowed politely.

The archbishop removed the small tiara of the princesses head and placed the Queen's royal crown upon Wanda's head.

Wanda returned to her normal posture and turned around to face her people.

"Queen Wanda of Bloomington." The archbishop announced.

"Queen Wanda of Bloomington." They repeated back.

Wanda made her way back down the aisle as people started clapping.

Wanda was excited to say the least. She could finally follow in her parents footsteps and be the best and kindest leader she can be.

She waited until her friends came out of the ceremony hall and giddily joined them in a group hug.

"You are finally queen." Sarah squealed, wrapping Wanda in a bear-like hug and forcing her away from the boys.

"I know." Wanda replied.

"My queen, does this mean we have to bow to you every time you enter a room?" Vision asked.

Wanda laughed and tilted her head at him. "Why of course not Vis."

Sam threw his arm over Wanda's shoulder being careful not to knock her new crown off, Bucky joined him.

"Well what are we waiting for? We have a ball to celebrate our new highness here." He said dramatically.

They all joined his laughter as they started to make their way through the halls towards the ballroom.

Sarah pulled Wanda away from the boy's ramblings.

"Are we still going through with the revenge plan? She whispered.

Wanda nodded. A mischievous grin on her face.

"And Natasha doesn't know?"

Wanda nodded again.

Sarah sighed deeply before continuing. "And when are we doing this?"

"At Natasha's coronation ball."

They both nodded in agreement before rejoining their friends.

They were going to do something awful and wicked.

But it's what he deserves.

They were going to kill the former king of azura. They were going to kill Natasha's father.

And Wanda was thrilled about it.
