Should Wanda have thought deeper about joining Natasha in the shower? Yes. Does she regret it? No, no she doesn't.

But karma came back to stab her again because she forgot she was injured.

Either way, she's now sat, facing away from Natasha, on the toilet getting her back bandaged. Does it hurt? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes.

Wanda hissed in pain from the disinfectant wipe Natasha was using and from getting the bandage wrapped tightly - not that it was too tight, Natasha knows what she's doing.

"Karma's a bitch. It's like it's out to get me." Wanda said, wincing in pain once again.

Natasha hummed in disapproval. "It's more like a cat, it loves you but now you have to live with the consequences of that."

"So you're saying that karma is scratching me like a cat?"

"I suppose."

Natasha stood up, finished with her job and came to stand over Wanda. Wanda turned around to face the other woman.

"So my mastermind plan did not work. Did it?" Wanda asked, to which Natasha laughed.

"Which one?"

"Any of them? They were more megamind plans. He would win some, I would almost win others." Wanda quoted.

Natasha shook her head smiling fondly, like this is all she's ever wanted. And if it is, Wanda vows not to ruin it.

"Oh, oh. I have an idea. What if in the future we raise a cat together. Like we'll personally be cat mums together." Wanda suggests.

There's a flicker of sadness in Natasha's eye before she grins at Wanda, and does Wanda notice? Definitely. Will she ask? Maybe later.

"That's a great idea." She says, brushing off the small deflation in her demeanour.

"Have you ever thought about kids?" Turns out Wanda doesn't need to ask later because there's that little flicker of sadness again. "You okay?"

"I'm fine, it's just - I can't really have kids, I don't have a uterus."

Was that what Wanda was expecting? No but would she do everything in her will to make Natasha's life better? Absolutely.

"That's awful, I'm so sorry." Natasha smiled at her. And if Wanda would do anything to see that smile, we don't mention it.

"It's fine, we have to actually escape the guards and jail first. But does that mean you want to be my girlfriend?" Natasha asked, wet hair dripping onto the floor and a hand resting on Wanda's chin.

Wanda can't imagine how she got this lucky but after all she's lost, she's glad she can call something her own - even if that something is someone.

So she nods, nods very vigorously in fact that she and Natasha fall into a laughing fit. Because this may look stupid to some people, because they 'barley' know each other, but Wanda's pretty sure she'd marry Natasha with paper rings.
