I've been out of it mentally for a while. I can't pin point why I feel the way I do, I just feel like I'm checking out. It absolutely kills me that I was taking my stress and anger out on Aurora because she doesn't deserve it at all, she's been so supportive and I just been a complete asshole the last couple of weeks. I even forgot her birthday....I'm forcing myself to do better though, I'm being more attentive and I'm leaving my shit at the door before I walk into our apartment. I never want to see her take her engagement ring off again, it literally broke me to see. I can't live without her.
I used the fact that I lost my internship to finally push myself to start Evan and I's business plans. Ever since high school we had a dream of owning the most successful business flipping corporation in Seattle. Basically Evan and I will loan money to certain businesses we see fit, to aid them in starting their business, and when they become successful we get a cut of all their profit. It's the same business my dad works in, but his company is a lot smaller, Evan and I are trying to take this worldwide eventually.
"You boys hungry?" Aurora came out of our room and walked to the kitchen as Evan and I worked. "If you wouldn't mind, yeah a bit" She smiled and nodded at Evan and I just nodded as I typed away on my laptop. "If you guys need a lawyer I can ask my mom, it's literally what she does" Evan chuckled nodding, "We'll keep that in mind, but we have a long way to go before we get to that point" Aurora nodded and started to cook us lunch. Evan didn't lose his internship, but when he found out I lost mine he resigned. The company we were working for didn't like that one bit, but he put them all in there place and I laughed at every second of it.
Aurora slid us both a plate with a loaded sandwich on it then glasses of water before kissing my temple and going back into our room. "PRINCESS", She scurried back out and looked at me with furrowed brows. "You have to eat too" Her face relaxed and she gave a curt nod before going in the fridge and taking out a yogurt, then she went back into the room. "Why doesn't she want to sit wit us?" I sighed and scratched the back of my neck, "She thinks she's bothering us, I tried to tell her that she doesn't, but she won't budge" Evan frowned and continued to fill out a bunch of papers while he ate.
After a few hours we packed up all our shit and both of us went into the bedroom and plopped ourselves on the bed while Aurora watched T.V. "Whats going on?" She giggled out, "We missed you" Evan said while string up at the ceiling. Aurora looked at me and I just smiled back while she smiled shaking her head. "I actually found it quite rude that you didn't want to sit with us, are we not good enough for you?" She rolled her eyes and smacked Evan. "I didn't want to bother you guys, you're stressed enough as it is" Evan faked yawned and stuck his middle finger at her. "Seems like a whole lotta bullshit to me" She narrowed her eyes at him and kicked him off the bed.
"Ow" He groaned out and I tired hard not to laugh. "You wanna be next?" My eyes widened and I shook my head. She looked back at the T.V smirking and Evan pulled himself off the floor. "I'm gonna hit the gym, wanna come?" I shrugged and looked at Aurora, "Wanna go?" She scrunched her face and shook her head and I chuckled. "You go though, I'm gonna take a nap" I nodded and got off the bed heading to my dresser. I pulled out a tank top and sweatpants and went to the bathroom to quickly change. I threw on sneakers and Evan and I headed out. We stopped at the house quick so he could change then we headed to the gym. "Damn it's been a minute" Evan nodded, "And you still look yolked as fuck, I don't get it" I chuckled and we headed to the squat rack and busted out a few squats before hitting the bench and doing that.
We did a few bicep curls before hitting traps then we hit a bit of back before doing cardio. "I forgot how good a pump feels, I missed this" Evan tossed a water bottle at me nodding, "You should come here when you're feeling stressed man, it dead ass helps" I nodded chugging the water. "Excuse me? Sorry to bother, but I noticed you working out and I was wondering if I could get your number?" I shook my head and she frowned, "I have a fiancé" She scuffed and touched my bicep, "What she doesn't know won't hurt her" I backed my head up in disgust and took her hand off of me, "Fuck off tramp" Her mouth opened in shock and Evan laughed at her.
