Aurora
"Princess" A soft hand caresses my cheek. "Aurora...baby" I groan and turn towards Axel with my eyes still closed. "Baby you gotta wake up, it's the afternoon. You need to eat something" I hummed a 'no' and he sighed. "Come on princess" He took my hand and gave it a slight tug. I opened my eyes and started at him while he pouted at me and I sighed sitting up. "I'm not hungry" He smiled and kissed my cheek, "You have to eat something baby" I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me out of bed and into his arms. He walked out to the kitchen and sat me on the counter as he went in the fridge and pulled out eggs. He quickly whipped them up and threw them in a pan and cooked me an omelet.
He slid it in a dash and handed it to me with a fork, then stood between my legs waiting for me to eat. "What are you waiting for?" His hands went to my thighs and lightly squeezed as I stared at him. I shook my head then started to eat the eggs. "Good?" I nodded with a smile and thanked him after swallowing. He kissed my forehead then turned around and started to brew coffee. "You have to go somewhere?" He turned with a frown and nodded, "Evan and I have some things to handle" I nodded with a sad smile and finished my eggs as he poured me a cup of coffee. "Thank you" I whispered out again as he handed me the mug and took the plate and fork from me.
"I won't be long I promise" I smiled as he came between my legs and buried his face in my neck. "Okay, I'll hold you to that promise" I felt him smile against my neck then kiss it as he tightened his arms around my waist. "When do you have to go?" As soon as the last word left my mouth there was a knock at the door and Axel sighed as he lifted his head. "Now" I frowned and nodded and he kissed my lips sweetly before heading to the door. I slid off the counter and sipped on my coffee as Axel left and I sighed as I looked over the empty apartment. I finished my coffee and washed the dishes before opening all the blinds and the balcony doors letting light and fresh air in the apartment.
I lit a few candles and grabbed a book getting cozy on the couch. I relaxed as I read and everything felt calm. The scent of the candles filled my senses and the light breeze clashed with the fuzziness and warmness of the throw blanket I threw over me. As I got deep into the book my phone started ringing and I sighed and groaned as it distracted me from my book, but I evidently answered it.
---"This call is being recorded from Seattle correctional facility. Press 1 to talk to inmate 'Alec Montgomery' "
My throat got dry as I stared off into the distance, my heart rate grew and anger consumed me. I pressed 1
---" Aurora?"
"What the fuck do you want?"
---" Aurora please, I just wanted to talk"
"Talk? You want to talk? YOU FUCKING SHOT MY FIANCE AND YOU WANT TO TALK?"
---"Please calm down and hear me out"
"Fuck you, don't ever contact me again"
---"Aurora wait-"
I hung up and closed my eyes trying to calm myself down. I took a deep breath and let out a shaky one. I laughed shaking my head, "What the fuck is my life?". I went to my contacts and called Axel hoping he wasn't in a meeting, but I guess he was because he didn't answer. I called Aaron and he also didn't answer. I clenched my jaw and bounced my leg trying to calm my nerves.
For the streets
Me: Alec called me
No answer from anyone...cool. I toss my phone on the couch and head to my room to put on some clothes. I throw on some sweatpants and a hoodie and I head out of the apartment without my phone, whoops. I get in my car and I head to Benny's, not to drink, but to just hangout with him. I walk in and smile at him, but he frowns at me. "Why the long face Ben?" His eyes go to a table behind me and I turn to see all of the boys including Axel at the table drinking and laughing. I nod taking in the sight before me and Aaron makes eye contact with me, I turn back to Benny and smile. "I just came to hangout with you, but um I'm gonna get out of here" He frowned again and nodded and I saw Axel stand from the corner of my eye.
