The truth

Chapter 8

They had been staying at the Uzumaki estate for a full week. Everything was going perfectly for the Konoha and Suna nins. No one had complained, not even when on the first morning in Uzshio Kakashi woke them all up by banging pots and pans together only to then go to sleep when he was sure none of them could.

So aside from that no one had anything to complain about. Well, that and one other thing but it only had to do with one person so no one else could really complain about it.

The morning had a slight cold that nipped at one's feat. However, the swishing of the water could be heard, and the seagulls were singing their tribute song to the god of the sea, Ryūjin and you could hear the occasional smaller birds singing their morning tunes.

The morning was peaceful, well except for one little blonde Omega. Here's why.

He felt it. The warm pooling in between his legs and the cramps in his abdomen. His back hurt like a bitch and he felt sick.

He craved sweets and other unhealthy things that would make him feel better.

Naruto, knowing exactly what was going on, quickly got himself out of Sasuke's grip and ran to the bathroom. He accidentally slammed the door and fully woke the raven-haired Uchiha from his slumber.

He was not met with his blonde angel like he always was, but he was met with the fresh scent of blood.

He threw the covers off the bed and saw a small pool of blood on Naruto's side of the bed.

Fearing the worst he jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom.

He opened the door and found his blond sitting in the bathtub with his blood mixing with the water still pouring into the tub.

He went to pull him out and nurse whatever wounds his Omega had, but was stopped when Naruto asked, "Did I wake you?"

"Naruto waking me up is the least of our concerns right now. What the fuck is going on right now? Why are you bleeding?" Sasuke asked with a fearsome gaze. His Omega was hurt.

Naruto looked at the raven as a blush spread across his cheeks, "They didn't teach you Omegan anatomy in your Alpha classes, did they?" The blonde asked.

"No. They teach us how to take care of Omega, but nothing more was said after that. Why? Is this something that Omega's do?" Sasuke asked.

Naruto sighed and told Sasuke to close the toilet and hand him a towel.

The raven did as told and now Naruto sat on the toilet lid bleeding onto the towel.

"I'm on my period," Naruto said.

"I thought only girl's got periods," Sasuke said.

"Yes, they do, but male Omegas have them too."

"How the hell does that work?" Sasuke asked flabbergasted.

"What brings this on is during every heat that Omega experiences there is an egg ready to be fertilized by Alpha or Beta sperm. When the egg goes unfertilized it stays in the Omega's womb for a while in case they want to get inseminated by their Alpha or Beta partner. Are you following this?" Naruto asked.

Sasuke nodded his head and waited for Naruto to continue.

"Well, when an Omega's heat approaches the old egg has to be flushed out to make room for the new egg. The egg gets destroyed and turned into the blood so that it could go away easier." Naruto said as his blush got deeper by the second.

"So what I'm getting from that is that you aren't hurt and you are approaching your heat," Sasuke said.

"Yeah."
