Their trip had finally come to an end, and they were exhausted.
They had finally arrived at the land of Whirlpools. They had been awed by the way they had to actually get to the Island which was surrounded by actual whirlpools that wouldn't touch you if you had a specific seal placed on you that pushed them away. The man who took them across also made a comment about having an Uzumaki with them made the waters calmer.
No one read into the comment or thought a little more on it.
The moment they had set foot on the island they had been ushered towards the village to go see the UzshioKage.
The village they were walking through was bustling with life and vibrant with color.
Naruto noticed how the most prominent symbol in the village was the same as the symbol that his Jiji said represented his clan.
He didn't understand why. His clan was gone, and he was the only one left. That's what he had been told when he asked Jiji why he couldn't go live with people who cared about him instead of staying in the village that would rather see him dead than fed.
They got to the Kage tower, and they were quickly escorted to her office.
They walked in and the UzshioKage immediately stood up. She has been waiting for them to get here.
The Kage of Uzshio was a very tall woman standing at 6'2 and she was built like a tank. She had blood red hair and bright blue eyes with tanned skin.
As soon as she stood, she used her towering height, and she scanned the faces of the children and their sensei's. Everybody thought she was analyzing them. To see if they were a threat or not.
She wasn't.
"Kon'nichiwa-" Kurenai was cut off by the UzshioKage walking towards them. She made her way through them and walked up to Naruto.
She looked at him and the blonde shrunk into himself.
She just smiled and snatched him up. Sasuke went to growl at her only to hear her exclaiming in glee, "Oh how cute! Just look at you! When they said there was an Uzumaki raised in Konoha I was skeptical at first but look at you! Half Uzumaki and half Senju!"
Everybody was stunned. Even Naruto as he was being swung around.
"Umm lady why do you care that I'm an Uzumaki?" Naruto asked as he tilted his head to the side.
"Oh, you must not know. Growing up in Konoha will do that to you. They have more secrets than people, yes, they do. And look at this. You're wearing the symbol too. Oh, your aunts and Uncles are going to be so happy to know that," she spoke.
"What do you mean? Aunt's and uncles?"
"Yes. An entire clan who is excited to meet you." She said and Naruto frowned.
"Jiji said that the entire Uzumaki clan was wiped out. How did he not know? How did no one know?" Naruto asked.
"Oh, you're Jiji didn't know much then. Some of us survived. We just went into hiding for a bit to recover. Attempted mass genocide would do that to a person."
"We?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, we. I am a full-fledged Uzumaki. My full name is Daria Uzumaki. That's why I was so excited about meeting you. It's not every day you find out Mito Uzumaki's great grandson walks among us." She spoke.
"Oh. Sorry." Naruto said.
"Oh, sweetie think nothing about it." She spoke.
"Excuse me Kage-Sama I don't want to break up this family reunion, but we just really need to get to our hotel," Sakura said.
