The truth

Chapter 1

Team 7, 8, 9 and 10 were standing at the gate getting ready to leave. They were just waiting on a certain blonde.

He was late for some reason. They mean late because Kakashi had arrived already. Sakura was loudly making it known that she was going to kill Naruto for being late.

Shikamaru just sighed before he rolled his eyes. He knew Naruto would be late.

The poor blonde was probably still preparing himself for the emotional and mental turmoil that this entire thing was going to take place. Giving himself a pep talk in the mirror. Telling himself he could do it. That he could make it through the day.

The blonde didn't exactly like being around so many people well more like Alpha's. Too many made him feel uncomfortable seeing as he was the only male Omega in the entire group. Not that anyone knew that.

Naruto had arrived a couple of minutes later. Shikamaru wanted to welcome the anxious blonde Omega into his arms. He wanted to calm him down. Sakura, however, was quick to yell at the small boy.

"Naruto-baka! What took you so long! I knew we shouldn't have let you go on you're own! Is it really so hard to do the simple task of packing!" She yelled.

Naruto lightly flinched, but put on his mask and said, "Sorry Sakura-Chan! I was held up by someone in my building."

"Oh, shut up Baka! We don't want your excuses!" Sakura yelled.

"Ne, ne Sakura. Calm down. Naruto is here now so let us get going." Kakashi said.

The pinkette scoffed and she was quick to latch onto Sasuke, before they started walking.

It was very quiet. So quiet that everybody thought that they had accidentally left Naruto behind.

They looked behind them and saw Shikamaru with his hand around Naruto's shoulder.

Naruto was looking around. He was looking at the scenery.

Sasuke clenched his fists and had a scowl on his face. He didn't like Shikamaru's arm being around Naruto. You see Naruto was loud and bright, but he was still submissive, and it looked like Shikamaru was moving in on Sasuke's Beta.

They just continued walking. Looking back from time to time to make sure Naruto was still there. Sasuke did it more out of desperation to make sure Shikamaru didn't move in on Sasuke's beta.

They thought that maybe what Sakura had said hurt him a bit.

It was just an hour after sunset when they had set up camp and started a fire.

Naruto was keeping himself quiet and only talked when he was spoken too, which wasn't a lot, and he sat as close as he possibly could against Shikamaru.

Shikamaru had his hand running through Naruto's hair. He enjoyed the silky softness of the blonde's hair.

Sasuke didn't like this and decided to get Sakura off of him and sit next to Naruto.

He had at one point even hooked his pinky with Naruto's. Said blonde didn't exactly care. He just enjoyed the heat he got from both Alpha's.

Kurenai got the Genin's attention by clearing her throat.

"Your sensei's and I have decided to start this entire team building exercise right now. So, we decided to play a game. We ask you question's and you answer them with total honesty. No matter how embarrassing." She spoke.

The entire group of Genin nodded their heads.

They wanted to play.

"Okay Ino how about you go first." Kurenai said.
