5 years later...
"Hurry up, Y/N! We're going to be late!" A voice called from outside.
"One moment!" I yell back as I heave my heavy trunk down the stairs. What could I have even put in here to make it so heavy!
At last I made it down the stairs. I rolled it out of the front door and onto the driveway. My Mum and Dad were standing by the car. Dad was checking his watch and Mum was tapping her foot impatiently.
"Finally! It's been ages! Put you're trunk in the car!" Mum says as she hops into her seat. My Dad chuckles a bit. My Mum was so impatient.
Cedric helps me lift my trunk into the back and then we hop in. I've barely even buckled my seatbelt before the car takes off.
It's sort of a tradition for the Diggorys to ride together in a car on the way to Kings Cross before we leave for Hogwarts. It's always so much fun though. We sing songs for most of the ride. Mum was in the middle of singing one of her favorite songs, A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love by Celestina Warbeck while Cedric and I were laughing like mad in the back of the car when we pulled up to the station. My Mum finished on a high note and we all give her a round of applause while she bows her head.
We walk inside, pulling our luggage along and still laughing a bit. We make our way over to the barrier. Double checking that nobody is paying attention, we all run through and step onto the platform.
The familiar whistle of the train tells us the train will be departing soon. Cedric and I give our parents a quick goodbye, manage to heave our trunks onto the train and hop on just in time before it starts moving.
We peek our heads out the window waving over to our parents until we round the corner and can't see them anymore.
"Bye, Y/N/N. See you at the feast," Cedric tells me as he ruffles my hair. I smile and then go to flatten it.
"See you later, Ced!" I say before walking down the train, looking for my friends.
At last, I found a compartment with a freckled redhead, a girl with bushy brown hair, and a boy with green eyes and raven hair. I slide open the door and three pairs of eyes fall on me.
"Y/N!" they all shout.
"I'm so glad to see all of you again!" I say in response.
I sit next to Harry who gives me a smile that makes my heart flutter. I smile back as I observe him. He seemed to be doing the same to me. He's definitely grown a few inches and his hair was a little longer, but he still has the same emerald green eyes. I realize that I'd been staring for a little too long. I blush a little and then turn to look at Hermione who was smirking at me. She insisted that I had a crush on Harry. I wouldn't say he wasn't generally good-looking, he was, but we're just friends.
"How have you all been?" I ask.
"Great! I visited France and it was beautiful there! I learned a lot and even added to my History of Magic essay! I wish you all could have seen it!" Hermione exclaimed excitedly. She was practically bouncing in her seat.
I laugh a little and then turn to Ron, "Oh, and how was Egypt, Ron?"
"Really cool! We went to a bunch of different pyramids. Mum wouldn't let Ginny in the last pyramid, though, because of the skeletons and stuff," Ron replied.
I turn to Harry, who was already looking at me.
"I blew up my aunt," he said simply.
"You what?!" I exclaimed.
"I don't know what happened. I just sort of lost control," Harry shrugged. At this, Ron and I burst out laughing.
Hermione crossed her arms, "You both wouldn't be laughing if Harry was expelled! He very well could've been!"
