A/N: Hey guys! So, It's been a while since I've uploaded anything and I'm very sorry for making you wait. I've just been very unmotivated to write lately and wanted to take a break. But, I am back now and I will try to keep posting as consistent as possible. Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy this new chapter!

Apparently, Percy had mentioned in his letter to Ron that there would be a special article in the Daily Prophet on Monday morning. An article that would definitely have something to do with Dolores Umbridge.

Half expecting to have to search the Daily Prophet thoroughly, I could tell that wasn't the case when Hermione almost spit out her pumpkin juice looking at the front.

"Umbridge's been appointed High Inquisitor?!" Hermione says.

"What's that?" I say, taking a bite of my toast.

"It says here that a High Inquisitor will have the powers to inspect the teachers here at Hogwarts," Hermione says, her eyes rapidly scanning the page, "They say it's the Minister's plans to get a grip on the 'falling standards' of Hogwarts."

"So, Umbridge is inspecting our other classes?" I say, "Can we ever get a break from that woman?"

"This is completely outrageous!" Hermione says, slamming the Daily Prophet on the table.

"Yeah," Harry says absentmindedly, while staring at his right hand. My face softens slightly and I look down at my own hand covered with the faint outline of the words Umbridge forced me to cut into my hand.

"I can't wait to see McGonagall inspected," Ron says, chuckling to himself, "Umbridge won't know what's hit her."

"Let's go," Hermione sighs, "If she's inspecting Binn's class, we don't want to be late."

However, Umbridge was not inspecting our dull History of Magic lesson, nor was she in the dungeons to inspect Snape in double Potions.

After lunch, I had Ancient Runes with Hermione while Ron and Harry had Divination.

"Imagine still being in that silly, good-for-nothing class," Hermione says as Harry and Ron head towards Trelawney's classroom.

"I'd prefer not to," I reply.

"Remember when she told you that weird prophecy or something?" Hermione says, "You know, when we were walking out of the classroom?"

"That's one of the reasons I'm never going back there," I say, "The lady gives me the creeps."

Hermione nods before quickly changing the subject, "I wonder what I'll get on the essay. Wouldn't it be excellent if I get an O this time?"

"Yeah," I say quietly. I hadn't mentioned to Hermione that I received a P on the last Ancient Runes essay.

After Ancient Runes, Hermione and I met up with Ron and Harry for Defense Against the Dark Arts. I've always enjoyed this class, but Professor Umbridge may have permanently ruined the subject for me.

"You won't believe what happened in Divination," Harry says, him and Ron falling into step beside Hermione and I.

"Professor Trelawney predicted you would drown again?" Hermione says, "Or did she say you would fall off a cliff this time?"

"No, Professor Umbridge was inspecting Trelawney," Ron says quickly.

"Well, what happened?" I say eagerly.

"It didn't go very well for Professor Trelawney," Harry says, "Umbridge asked her to make a prediction, but apparently 'The Inner Eye does not See upon command'"
