Slam! Hermione threw down a large pile of books on the table in front of me and Harry.
"These are all the books I could find on dragons," Hermione says as she begins flipping through a book.
Harry and I sigh and begin reading.
"It says 'Dragons are extremely difficult to slay, owing to the ancient magic that imbues their thick hides, which only the most powerful spells can penetrate," I read.
"When I talked to Sirius, he told me that I would only need a simple spell," Harry says. I shut the book and throw it aside.
"Did he say what spell?" I ask.
"Well... no. He had to go. He couldn't talk long," Harry says. Hermione begins to mumble something to herself and grabs another book from the pile.
"Harry, while we're on the topic of dragons... I was thinking that you should tell Cedric about the dragons," I say quickly.
"But why would I do that?" Harry complains.
I sigh, "Harry, you realize Krum and Fleur will already know. Obviously Karkaroff and Maxime told them. Cedric's the only champion who doesn't know."
"I don't know..."
"Please, Harry. He's my brother," I plead.
"Fine," Harry sighs. I wasn't really sure why, but Harry wasn't to fond of Cedric. And Cedric seemed to reciprocate his feelings. Cedric never really understood why I liked to hang out with Harry. Maybe it was because they were technically competing against each other in this tournament. Or maybe it's just some Quidditch rivalry.
"Thank y-" I begin, but Hermione cuts me off.
"Oh great! He's back again!" Hermione snaps. I watch as Krum slouches into the library and begins reading at a table in the corner.
"His group of fangirls will be here any minute! Let's go," Hermione says. Before either of us could say anything, Hermione was dragging us out of the library and back to the Gryffindor common room.

"Hermione, Y/N, I need to learn the Summoning Charm by tomorrow," Harry announces. We were in Herbology and Harry had just ran in, panting heavily.
"You're late," Hermione says sharply.
"Really, I had no idea," Harry replies. Hermione rolls her eyes.
"Why are you late?" Hermione says with a sharp glare.
"I told Cedric," Harry smiles briefly at me before speaking again, "And then I was with Moody."
"Why were you with Moody?" I ask.
"He helped me figure out how I can beat that dragon. I need to know the Summoning Charm, so I can summon my broom. My strength is flying and for that, I need my Firebolt," Harry says.
"Alright, we'll help you," Hermione sighs before going back to pruning her Flutterby Bush.
"Excellent," Harry beams.
And so we practiced. In an empty classroom, Hermione and I tried to help Harry master the spell. He was having trouble concentrating as the books and quills kept dropping halfway.
Hermione refused to let us skip class, so Harry was forced to go to Divinations and I had to go to Ancient Runes. Quite cheerily, I must say, Hermione made her way to Arithmancy.
After dinner, we continued practicing. We were in the classroom for hours, until Peeves found us around midnight. He began chucking chairs at us and we managed to make our way back to the Gryffindor common room before Filch found us.
