I met Dad and Cedric back at the tent after the match. Cedric and I stayed up to talk about the match for a while until Dad told us to go to bed. I quickly got changed and went to sleep right as my head hit the pillow.

It felt like I'd only been sleeping for a minute when someone shakes me awake.

"Y/N! Y/N!" Cedric shouts.

"Ced, what is it?" I say, shakily. I hear the sound of people screaming and glass shattering outside.

"We need to go now!" Cedric says. I quickly stand up.

"Where's Dad?" I ask, worried.

"He went to help the Ministry. He told me to go with you to the woods now!" Cedric says, pulling me out of the tent.

There was fire. A lot of fire. Noises like gunshots and sickening laughter rang out. I saw streaks of green light. People are running away from a crowd of wizards. They wore black hoods and their faces were masked. They shot curses at the people fleeing to the woods.

A horrible thought came to me, what if my friends weren't safe? What if my Dad wasn't safe? I doubt these people would hesitate to hurt anyone.

"Y/N! We need to go!" Cedric shouts. He pulls my arm and we break into a sprint towards the forest.

The forest was dark and I could barely see anything. I look back and see the people taunting a Muggle child. They were spinning him around in the air while his limp body flopped around.

"That poor boy, Ced," I whisper. He looks at me with a grim expression.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see someone sprinting at me. I reach for my wand, but they didn't want to hurt me. They flung their arms around me, crashing me into a tight hug. It's Harry.

"Y/N, I'm so glad you're alright," Harry sighs. He pulls back and inspects me.

"You're not hurt, are you?" Harry asks.

"No, I'm not," I say. Harry takes a noticeable sigh of relief. "Are you ok?" I quickly ask.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine," Harry replies. I nod, relieved. He was pushed away by a bushy-haired girl.

"Y/N! Thank goodness you're alright!" Hermione exclaims.

"You'll be fine with them, I'm sure. I'm gonna go help the children," Cedric says, gesturing to some crying kids, who have probably lost their parents.

"Be safe, Ced," I say.

"You too," He says as he ruffles my hair. I don't even bother to flatten it.

"It's sick..." Ron says with solemn expression, "What they're doing."

"Indeed, Weaselbee," Draco Malfoy said from behind Ron, although I think he meant it in a different way. As in a cool way. I scrunch my nose in disgust.

"You're a disgusting git, Malfoy. Leave us the hell alone," I snap. We didn't have time for this.

"Language, Diggory. You know, you wouldn't want her to be spotted. Can you guess what they would do?" Malfoy says, gesturing to Hermione. My nostrils flared.

"What does that mean?" Hermione said with narrowed eyes.

"They're after Muggles, Granger. But go ahead and stick around. It'll give us all a good laugh," Malfoy smirks.

"Hermione's a witch," I snarl.

"Diggory, do you think they can't spot a Mudblood?" Malfoy sneers.

I was about to slap him right then and there, but Harry grabbed my arm.
