Draco Malfoy was the only person who seemed to have a problem with Defense Against the Dark Arts, because it quickly became most people's favorite class.

After that day with the boggarts, I've noticed that Professor Lupin seemed to be avoiding me and would rarely even look my way. He wouldn't call on me in class when I raised my hand to answer a question. Almost as if, I just didn't exist to him. I had told Hermione, Ron, and Harry about it, but they said I might just be acting a little paranoid.

Nevertheless, I couldn't help but enjoy his class. It was like none of my classes I had taken in previous years.

Potions was completely horrible, as always. Professor Snape still favored the Slytherins and since word of Neville's boggart got out, Snape's been even more irritable lately.

Divination was a dreadfully boring class and Hermione claims it to be "a silly excuse of a class". I'm not saying I don't agree with her, though. Professor Trelawney isn't exactly a reliable source of information in my opinion.

Care of Magical Creatures wasn't any better. It quickly became a dull class. I suspected Hagrid just didn't want to almost lose his job again, but watching flobberworms swallow lettuce is a little ridiculous.

As the school year dragged on and into October, my days consisted of a pretty simple schedule. I spent most of my time with Hermione, which meant that I spent a lot of time doing homework in the Gryffindor common room or taking trips to the library. When I wasn't studying, I was playing wizard's chess with Ron, who was undefeated, much to my annoyance. Since the quidditch season was starting up, Harry wasn't around as much.

One evening, Hermione, Ron, and I were doing our homework by the fireplace when Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas came over and sat down on the sofa behind us.

"Our first Hogsmeade trip!" Dean exclaims.

I look up, "Really?! Have they scheduled it?"

Seamus nods eagerly, "Yeah, Halloween's the first weekend!" Dean and Thomas begin talking animatedly.

"I can't wait to visit Honeyduke's!" I say to Ron and Hermione.

"Don't forget Zonko's joke shop or the Shrieking Shack!" Ron replied.

"It's supposed to be the most haunted place in Britain," Hermione added.

"What is?"

I turn around and see a beaming Harry Potter, standing in his Gryffindor quidditch robes. He wiped some sweat off his brow and sat down next to us.

"The Shrieking Shack in Hogsmeade," Hermione answered. Harry's smile falters a bit at the mention of Hogsmeade.

I scrunch my nose, "You need a shower."

"Do I?" Harry asks. He leans forward to give me a hug. I squeal as I back away.

"You're all sweaty!" I laugh. Harry gives me a mischievous grin as he wraps his arms around me.

I look at Hermione and Ron who were smirking at the sight of us. I gently push Harry's arms away and my face heats up.

"Um... maybe you should ask Professor McGonagall if you can go to Hogsmeade, Harry," I suggest. I look at Harry to see his cheeks were a slight shade of pink.

"Absolutely not. Harry should stay in the castle. He can't be running around Hogsmeade with Black still out there," Hermione argues.
