The next morning, I woke up to Mrs. Weasley's shrieks. Apparently, Fred and George had tried to bewitch their trunks to fly downstairs, but they ended up ramming into Ginny, knocking her down two flights of stairs.
"Finally! You're up!" Hermione shouts, pulling the blankets off me, "If you don't hurry up, we're going to miss the train!"
"Okay, geez, Hermione," I groan.
"Gosh, you're a heavy sleeper," Hermione says briskly, "Mrs. Black and Mrs. Weasley have been screaming for the past five minutes."
"Hermione, just give me a few minutes," I yawn.
"No," Hermione says, whacking me with her pillow, "We have to leave for the train any minute. Get out of bed!"
"Fine!" I sigh.
I step out of bed and hurry to the bathroom. I groan and cover my ears as Mrs. Black's screams fill the hallway. This house is going to give me a headache.
I shut the bathroom door and throw on a jumper and pants. I quickly fix my hair and brush my teeth.
"WILL YOU LOT GET DOWN HERE NOW!" Mrs. Weasley screams. I jump slightly and rush back into my room, grabbing Natia's cage and lugging my trunk down the stairs.
"Harry, you'll come with me and Tonks," Mrs. Weasley says to Harry, who was clambering over the trunks piled in the hall. "Oh for heaven's sake! Sirius, Dumbledore said no!" Mrs. Weasley shouts. A big black dog came up next to Harry.
"Fine! It's your own head!" Mrs. Weasley sighs.
"Come on, Y/N," Hermione says pulling me towards the kitchen, "Harry's going with them, because he needs a guard. We're going with Mr. Weasley, Lupin, Mad-Eye along with everyone else."
The walk to King's Cross didn't take more than twenty minutes. We met up with Harry, Tonks, Sirius, and Mrs. Weasley at the platform and began unloading our trunks and heaving them onto the train. I grab Natia's cage and walk over to Lupin.
"Good luck, kid," Lupin says, ruffling my hair. I lean in to hug him and he immediately wraps his arms around me.
"Your parents know you're going to Hogwarts, right?" Lupin says.
"Of course," I say, "They—uh—couldn't make it."
"Right, well, I'll miss you. I'll be seeing you at Christmas, right?" Lupin says.
"Of course. I'll miss you, too, Uncle Lupin," I say, giving him one last hug.
"We should hurry aboard. The train will leave soon," Hermione says to me.
"Yeah," I reply. Ron and I begin following her. Harry, who had just said his goodbyes to Sirius, pulls me back while Ron and Hermione step on the train.
"What is it?" I ask.
"I—uh—I've just been—I just want to talk to you. Alone," Harry says.
"Um... okay. What's up?" I say.
"Well, you know the other day where you wanted me to help you pick out a jumper to bring and then we were talking about if you were coming to Hogwarts or not and then you told me you were—"
