I crawled and crawled stopping at a door where it was slightly open. My curiosity got the better of me, and I headed towards the door. I opened the door even more and looked inside to find it very familiar. 'Where have I seen this? This is like so familiar.' I looked around and finally realized where I was. 'I'm in the room where I keep meeting the Lady!' I quickly crawled towards the window and saw the lady sitting on the window seat, looking just like my dream. 'Wait, am I dreaming right now?' I used my tiny hands and slapped myself a couple of times. 'Ow and nope. Guess I'm awake.' I looked at her and climbed up to the window seat as well. She was still covered in shadows, but something was weird.
Seeming to have finally noticed me, she stretched out her arm and leaned forward. I finally saw her. The shadowed lady. She was stunning, even with a gold mask on her face. Her skin was at a cross between being light to medium. Her hair was a shimmering, bright gold that looked like golden silk threads. Something about her made me feel very nostalgic. 'So you are the lady in my dreams and possibly my mother if I'm not too mistaken.' The two of us stared at each other, and I finally noticed her eyes. They were a brilliant gold, almost like jewels. Her overall appearance and aura remind me of the desert sun, and I don't exactly mean the scorching kind but the one that makes you feel warm and protected. The lady quirked a smirk and reached out her hand towards me. I sat there watching her outstretched hand coming closer to me, and just as she was about to touch my head, the door opened all the way. The lady disappeared suddenly like no trace of her ever existed. I looked towards the door to see my father standing there, looking at me confused. "How did you get in here?" He walked up to me and picked me up. 'The door was kind of open, so I let myself in. Is that good enough answer for you?' My father opened the window, and I could hear the ocean waves and the lively chatter. I looked out to see the beautiful bright moon and the endless stars. 'So pretty.' I turned to look at my father, and he turned from looking out the sky to me, and the two of us stared at each other once more. I feel like this is the new method of communication.
"So ugly." I got irked and kicked his chest. 'Well, sorry for having your genes!' My father moved me outside the window, where all I see is a bunch of death below. 'He can't be planning to drop me, is he!? I mean, why wouldn't he? I'm more surprised at how he hasn't done this sooner.' I looked at him, and he looked back at me with a face I couldn't decipher.
"Papa!" I shouted, smiling at him. His grip on me tightened a little bit. 'I can't tell if this is working anymore. I still want to live, that's for sure.' I didn't like the feeling of not having solid ground beneath me. I'm not the type for wanting to fly. "Why did you have to be here?" He asked, but I couldn't tell if it was for me particularly. "If only it was them-" My father stopped midway, seeming to think for a moment. 'Who's them.' I shall say this once more they never damn finish. "If it was her and not you." My father said, and this is what I'm talking about. It stops one point and goes onto another, kind of frustrating for a mentally grown baby. He tightened his grip even more as if he remembered something. "If only you hadn't been born." My father said and dropped me. I immediately felt gravity take hold of me, dragging me down.
I could see my father's distancing eyes staring down at me. Red and uncaring, but there is something weird about it simultaneously. Like I'm missing something to it. 'Those red eyes are truly the work of a demon.' I thought, oddly calm in my situation. 'I guess after dying so many times, the process doesn't even matter anymore.' I'm not going to close my eyes. I'll see this through whether that jerk of a father wants me to or not. 'Although I do have to say it still kind of hurts to be just tossed out like a garbage bag.' I had naively thought there was some sort of communication being built between us. Guess it was only one-sided. I fucking hate fate to the pits of my gut. I hate it for giving me such a shitty life again and again.
I closed my eyes for a moment to calm myself down, and I opened them back up to see the lady from before. She was casually freefalling like I was and looking up at the castle that was in the distant view. I looked back at the lady, and she looked over at me smirking, then pointed back upwards. I looked at where she was pointing but didn't understand what she was getting at. I hear the rushing waves crashing against rocks edging closer. 'Well, I'm in for a world of hurt again.' I got ready for impact, but my sudden fall stopped abruptly.
