Morium was staring down at Dia as she peacefully slept in the grass. "Look at you sleeping without a care in the world. I bet if the world ended right now, you still wouldn't care." Morium sighed with a grin on his face. 'Honestly, I don't understand how that kid keeps getting weird ones like you?' Morium questioned, but an image of a tiger and phoenix popped into his head. 'Ah! Nevermind. Though this one is particularly strange. Anyway, it will be fun to see how she grows up.' Morium humming a little tune looked up at the bright blue sky and big fat clouds, but he stopped his humming and lost his smile after a moment. 'If you gods had become so bored to do something like this. I hope you realize the consequences of your action...I guess it's either death or annihilation first.' Morium sat up from the grass, sighing. 'A child like her is a double-edged sword, but if used right, can be a truly powerful asset.' Morium let out a smirk, looking over at Dia, and patting her head. "To you who inhabitants the body. I wonder if you even realize the consequences of your actions." Morium narrowed his eyes at the sleeping Dia, and for a still moment, everything seemed to pause. "All in due time." He said, grinning at the asleep Dia. Morium picked up Dia, and they teleported back to the castle.
As soon as they left, a patch of grass moved to reveal a small child who looked six years old. The child had long pointed ears, light blonde to even white hair, and green forest eyes. He wore brown shorts and a short-sleeved green tunic top. The boy ran as fast as he could back to the trees under the hill and reached the cliff edge, where some of the tree branches were sticking out, and the top of the trees could be seen but still a long way up.
The boy took a few steps back, did a running start, jumped across the cliff, and landed feet first on a thick tree branch. Then as if it was natural, the boy climbed higher up where the branches were denser and closer and began tree hopping. Eventually, signs of housing can be seen and interconnecting rope bridges that go from one treehouse to another. Jumping one more time, the boy landed on the rope bridge, leading the bridge to sway lightly. The treehouses all had a circular form that was wide and tall like an average house supported by a platform. The roof was shaped like a cone. The treehouses were made out of dark wood, large leaves, hay, and logs with connecting bridges, creating an intricate travel system. The boy ran across the bridge, saying hi to the passing others. Finally, he stopped at a treehouse filled with plants, butterflies, and birds. "Aszcha(1)! Aszcha! I bring news!" The small child shouted. A man walked out from the treehouse carrying a potted plant in his hands. He had long light blonde hair braided near the end. A dark green tunic, brown pants, boots, and an off-white loose robe.
"Calm down, Rezva(2)." Aszcha told Rezva, handing him a cup of water.
"Aszcha, today I saw the strange man, and he brought someone else with him!" Rezva said after taking a drink.
"Did he now. What was the other person?" Aszcha asked, setting the potted plant down on a shelf.
"It was a child not much older than a year or two. Had very gold hair and the strange man seemed to have talked with her like she understood him." This made Aszcha raise a brow.
"Is that so?" Aszcha looked at his plants as his mind returned to a past memory where Morium had come many times to that hill; however, it was with someone else.
"Aszcha?" Rezva called out, and Aszcha looked down at the boy smiling.
"Thank you, Rezva. The others are short-handed right now. Go help them." Aszcha patted Rezva's head, and Rezva nodded his head smiling. Aszcha looked at his pot of crocus and smiled to himself. "Seems like everything has begun then." He said, setting down the pot. 'I wonder, has he known about this since the beginning? It's too early to say I must be patient and wait.' While thinking that, Aszcha began watering the plants. "News will travel soon. Whether the world will be thrown into prosperity or chaos will eventually depend on the ones you've chosen." He let out a sigh.
