Fever || Sunghoon x reader

- the arrival -

"Hey, Y/n, get up! We arrived!"

 You could hear the quiet boy's voice and didn't recognise him at first. While opening your eyes slowly, a tear fell off of them. At first, you didn't know where were you, but when Auden unbuckled your seatbelt, you quickly got up, figuring out where exactly were you and where were you going.  

"Did we arrive?" You questioned, ignoring his previous words. Well, you weren't exactly in the best state of mind to understand him, so it's not your fault. 

"Yeah, good morning!" He joked with you. You were still sleepy, so you checked the time seeing it was 2:12 AM, Korean time. You smacked his head lightly because he dared to fool you around.

However, it was finally time to exit the plane, so you got your backpacks and caught your best friend's hand. You had to wait because the flight attendants were taking care of the people in the VIP section. You were in the business class, so you were the next ones.

Still, the fact that you travelled together with part of the members of ENHYPEN was unbelievable. And the things you heard. No! You decided you weren't going to think about it. As if it didn't happen. That was the right to do in that kind of situation. You were going to their concert to lighten up the guilt that was eating you up inside. 

To be honest, you couldn't wait to go to their concert. They had amazing songs, and according to Auden, stunning choreographies. Their presence was breathtaking, so you wanted to see how would they be face to face.

Finally, the VIP section exited the plane successfully. It was your turn now. Slowly but with bearable speed, you were exiting step by step.  After a long wait, you were at the end. Half an hour and you were going to be out and accommodating into your new home. 

4:10 AM, you were out of the airport. Unfortunately, it was too late to go for a walk, and you had to take your things to your flat. Auden helped you with the luggage, and you took a taxi. Your flat wasn't far from the airport, or at least you thought so.

You finally arrived. Auden's flat was next to yours. Firstly, he helped you with the unloading. Your flat wasn't too big it had 3 rooms. It could easily fit 3 or 4 people for a party. The bedroom had a big bed where could be laid 2 people. Your best friend helped you with your kpop merch, especially with the albums for which you had special shelves. 

When you finished with the tidying up, it was already around 6 AM. Both of you were exhausted, especially Auden, because he hadn't got sleep at all. And his flat was waiting for you. You took care only for yours, after all.

"Can I sleep here because it will take time to order the things in my place?" He was willing to beg you. The tiredness was calling, and to be honest, you didn't have the energy to take care of his place either. 

"Okay, you can take the bed, I will be sleeping on the sofa." You were too kind. Give him the bed when your back and neck were killing you. But what could you do, he looked like a puppy begging for his food.

"Let's share the bed, we can keep distance if you want to?" Honestly, you were too sleepy to care about such things. With humming sounds, you accepted his request. 

Warm oxygen was present in the room. The huge presence of carbon dioxide made you even sleepier. Your body touched the massive bed and laid next to the boy. Both of you didn't have blankets, and he was asleep. Your exhaustion didn't allow you to get up and take them. In the end, you gave up and just laid there, resting your muscles. Your eyes were slowly closing up. You began imagining countless scenarios which helped you to fall asleep.

A warm wave of light flooded your eyes. The goldtone penetrated between your eyelids, leaving you conscious. Your hands travelled to your eyes, rubbing them. You were still in your dreamland when you felt a hand over you. Your heart almost stopped before realising it was Auden's hand. He was still sleeping. 

You didn't want to wake him up that's why you carefully picked up his hand and put it on the bed. With slow movements, you went to the bathroom. While brushing your teeth, you woke up more. And then it hit you. Yesterday's events were returning to you like a film strip. Excitement hit you while the memories were coming back. 

After brushing your teeth, you went to find your phone. You found it on the table in the living room. While opening it, you saw the time, and your eyes widened. It was 12:30 PM. Part of your day went to hell. But you remembered both of you went to bed at 6 AM and it made sense. 

You were going to wait for Auden half an hour, and if he didn't wake up you, were going to wake him up. Fortunately, he woke up 10 minutes after you. You waited a couple of minutes more until he got ready.

"Okay, so, what's the plan?" You asked your best friend. But he was still sleepy and couldn't answer immediately. He took some time to think, and an idea lightened in his head.

"Let's order my flat, and after that let's go to Cheongdam-dong. we are close to it, after all." Said the boy. The idea wasn't bad at all, you thought and nodded in agreement. After deciding on today's plan, you took yourself in your hands and started completing the tasks.

Around 3 hours were needed to clean up everything. Now you were free to go around the expensive shopping centre. You got some of your more expensive clothes and some brand ones because you were going to the place where the celebrities live. You had to be presentable. 

Both of you were finally ready. It was 4 PM, the perfect time for a walk and if possible shopping. You didn't believe there would be something you could afford, but it didn't hurt to try. 

When Auden was ready he knocked on your door. You opened for him, and your eyes expanded. He was wearing a gorgeous brand suit with black crystals here and there. His hair was stylised so good that it blinded you. The word stunning would be too weak to describe him. You haven't seen him wearing something like that until now. 

"Shall we, madam. I'm gonna treat you to dinner today. Let's spend some money, we deserve it. Also, you look incredible!" He held out his hand for you to get it. You were more than happy to have him as a best friend. 

"Thank you! Let's go!" You responded and got his hand. You went out with him while holding his hand. Honestly, if somebody saw you, they would think you were a couple, but you had got used to it already. You didn't have any feelings for him. Actually, you had before, but you gave up because he wasn't your soulmate, and you thought of him only as a friend.

After walking around, you were finally in Cheongdam-dong. When you laid your eyes on the place, you were left without breath. The streets were more than expensive. Imagine living there next to the most popular celebrities and CEOs.

But today you were going to eat in some of these amazing restaurants. Thanks to your best friend. You couldn't wait, but before that, you wanted to look around the brand stores. 

Looking around, entering some famous brand's stores, and meeting some polite people. Everybody, there was wearing brand clothes and had an amazing style. They just radiated rich energy. It was such a pleasure to be accepted into one of the top 10 best universities in Seoul.

While praising the environment, something unexpected happened. You stopped for a second. A wave of familiar feeling. Auden saw that and asked what was happening, but you just stood there. You didn't want to look suspicious, that's why you moved a little. 

The headache had hit you. Your temperature had risen. Dizziness made your legs leak. Shivers were going down your spine. It was stronger than in the plane. You looked around with the strength you were left with.

A group of boys could be seen.
