Fever || Sunghoon x reader

"Why don't you stay for dinner?" Heeseung offered you. You thought he was only being polite and wasn't honest. After all, who would want their fan to eat with them in their own home?

"We cooked food for one more person when Sunghoon told us you were coming." Jay made it clear that you weren't interrupting anything, and the dinner was planned. Your answer wasn't given immediately because you gave it some thought but eventually agreed.

"Okay, if you are good with that. Oh, right! I almost forgot!" With that statement, the members looked at each other confused. You hurried to the kitchen table and got the plastic bag which was placed on top of it.

"I baked you pancakes. You can eat them for dessert." Your hand reached to give the bag. The closest member to you was Jungwon, and he took the cakes from you.

"Aw, that's so sweet of you!" Your surprise made Sunoo happy. They all thanked you for the sweet present.

"Let's go to eat, shall we?" Jay suggested as his body moved to the kitchen, and he began setting the table.

You couldn't sit there and watch, so you went to help the others. They were so kind to you. For a moment, it really felt like they were your friends. However, you didn't let yourself forget that they were idols and you were their fan. Because of that, you kept your distance.

As you finished setting the table, they brought one more chair for you and placed it beside Sunghoon's. It was kind of awkward at the beginning, but later on, they made you feel as if you were in your home.

"So, will you tell us more about yourself now?" Jake reminded you of his question from earlier, which you didn't answer.

"Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. Well, I am from y/c. I came to Seoul thanks to my scholarship. It had always been my dream. When I was younger, I wanted to come here because I was a fan of some kpop groups, but later on, it wasn't about the groups anymore. My best friend Auden is with me. We could make our dream come true together. He is in the best university now." Your story began. The words left your mouth freely, which was kind of surprising. Even when you were nervous, you could keep it clean with the pronunciation.

"That means me and your friend are in the same university. I would love to meet him. Does he know you are with us now?" The dog-like boy questioned you, but that made your smile fade away.

"He is a fan of you guys, but since we went to your concert, he had been acting strange when I had mentioned Sunghoon. That's why I didn't tell him that I am here now." The other boys looked at each other. 

"Maybe it's because he likes you or something. However, don't tell him for now. We should keep it a secret because of our idol carrier. You can tell him when you are sure that he won't tell anyone." The leader reminded you, as well as the others everything that happens should be kept a secret. Which, of course, you respected.

"I can meet him at university if you want. In my opinion, if we become friends, he would keep everything a secret, and you could tell him that you know us too." Jake made a plan which sounded perfect to you. The other members were good with that too.

"That sounds a pretty decent plan. I think it will work out." Your opinion was shared, to which the rest of the boys reacted positively.

"I have a question. You said that you went to our concert. Are you an engene?" The youngest asked with interest. Of course, it would be strange and uncomfortable for them to be with a fan, or at least you thought so. However, you didn't want to lie to them. That's why you decided to tell them all the truth.

"Honestly, my best friend had been an engene since I-land. He showed me your songs when I was flying to Seoul. Since I heard them, I became your fan. After going to your concert, I liked you even more. I am sorry if that makes you uncomfortable." You spilt everything out. This silence scared you. You were ready to leave any moment now.

"That's so cool! I bet you are living the time of your life right now!" Sunoo exclaimed. Visibly, he was excited and proud at the same time. However, you were still tense.

"We are glad that we have the chance to meet an engene and talk with you for so long. Please, perceive us as your friends. We will be meeting more from now on." Heeseung looked with a light smirk at Sunghoon. When he turned to face you, his sweet smile made your heartthrob.

"Thank you! I was concerned about whether you would feel uncomfortable with me being here, but I can say that the engenes won by stanning you." Your comment made them blush. They were incredibly happy and proud of themselves, as well as proud of their fans who never left their side.

"Wow, it's so cool to be a friend with your fan!" Jake shouted, making everyone chuckle. At that moment, you felt like the luckiest person in the whole world.

"You can tell us what's happening in our fandom." Jungwon shared with everyone. You would be more than happy to help them out.

"Yes, of course! I would love to help you!" Your support made them all smile. Having an engene as their friend would be so much helpful for them. At the same time, they were glad to make one of your dreams come true. They weren't even the slightest bit uncomfortable with you being there because they knew you were a good person. 

"Now the real question. When are you and Sunghoon getting together?" Ni-ki asked, which caused all of them to look at you, expecting an answer.
