Fever || Sunghoon x reader

After a long night of waiting, it was finally Wednesday. The anxiety you were feeling was interrupting the things you had to do. However, you somehow managed to contain yourself and go to the university. 

You didn't meet Sunghoon all day long, and he didn't text you at all, which was strange. A couple of things went through your mind. Did he cancel the whole thing? No, he was probably busy. Well, the lectures went not so smoothly because you were unsuccessfully trying to concentrate on the lesson instead of overthinking.

The classes had come to an end. At that moment, you were wondering what should you do. Well, there was no sight of Sunghoon in the whole building. That's why you decided to look for him outside. 

A few more minutes passed when a man with a hood, sunglasses and a black mask moved closer to you. He was next to you with a few steps, trying to come even closer. Naturally, you moved to the side while getting scared. 

"Come with me." The mysterious boy whispered in your ear, making sure he used the softest voice he could so he didn't scare you. His voice sounded familiar to you, but you still didn't trust him fully.

"Who are you, and where are you taking me?" You asked quietly because you didn't want to attract attention for now.

"I am Heeseung. Sorry for the inconvenience. It's just that nobody has to see us." He removed the glasses and the mask for a part of the second, so you could believe him.

"Oh, okay." You answered, wondering about one thing. Why would he wear so many things when it's attracting too much attention? You wouldn't be surprised if you saw the news about a disguised guy going to university and taking a girl with him. It somehow looked too suspicious.

Heeseung walked you to the backyard of the school. Somehow there wasn't anyone except these eight guys. When you got closer to them, you recognised them. The rest of the members of ENHYPEN were there and two more men. The one who was standing closer to the boys wore an all-black outfit and was fit, so you guessed he was a security guard. The other one was standing next to a car with eleven seats inside, so he was probably the driver.

When you looked at ENHYPEN, the first one you spotted was Sunghoon. His outfit was semi-casual, which emphasised his best features. His silver hair was glowing. You checked him out, and luckily, he didn't notice that because you would die from embarrassment. The others also looked good, but nobody could compare to the boy who invited you.

"Y/n!" Sunoo shouted a little too loud, to which the other members didn't react well.

"Shh, Sunoo Hyung! Nobody has to know we are here, so please be quiet." The leader of the group warned him harshly, so the boy immediately lowered his voice down.

"Let's go faster before someone sees us." Jake insisted because he knew it would be a pain in the ass if there was a true rumour. It would be difficult to prove it wasn't true if someone found out about that.

The other members got in the car first and left you and Sunghoon at the back. Heeseung, Jake and Ni-ki were seated in the first three seats. The second row of people was Sunoo, Jay and Jungwon. You and the boy you liked were together in the last row.

"You can sleep if you want because the ride will be quite long." A hoarse voice was heard from the driver's seat. So it would take a while.

While waiting, you observed the members' behaviours. Sunghoon was looking out of the window. It looked like he wanted to start a conversation but didn't know how to begin. Jay and Jungwon were kind of in their world, teasing each other. 

On the other hand, it looked like Ni-ki and Sunoo had some sort of a quarrel. Sunoo was taking stern glances at the youngest, trying to signalise him that he was annoyed. However, the maknae was having fun with his hyungs in the front row.

"By the way, where are we going?" Seeing that he wouldn't do the first step and start a conversation, you decided to grab his attention.

 "Secret. You will see." The sincere smile on his face was contagious. 

"Sorry for not texting you today. I had to organise everything and surprise you." That answered your questions from earlier. Who would have guessed he would be so your type after knowing him even better.

"Not a problem, but I will admit it. I was wondering." You were talking freely to him. 

After a few minutes, you became sleepy. You yawned a couple of times and switched in one place. The attempts of finding a comfortable place to close your eyes and go to another place were unsuccessful. Luckily, the man, who could help, noticed. 

"Do you want to lean on my shoulder so you can sleep?" Sunghoon offered this captivating suggestion. Thanks to being half asleep, you didn't take too much of a thought before doing something he told you to do.

You leaned on his shoulder and adjusted yourself, making it comfortable. Your heartbeat was too loud to stay unnoticed. Hearing that, the boy was smiling and admiring your beauty. 

"Thank you." You barely mumbled because of the need to sleep. 

While looking at you, Sunghoon was thinking about some things. Firstly, he was thanking the universe for meeting the two of you. Secondly, he was wondering how could you be so cute while falling asleep. Next, how happy would he be if you were in a relationship together. Lastly, what would he do if you were his soulmate? The last one kind of ruined the moment for him.

Therefore, the boy wouldn't leave the things like that, so he stopped thinking about the last thing. As he was staring at you, he noticed that your hair was falling on your face. That's why he reached your face and moved the strokes of hair carefully, gracing your cheek.

His other hand was placed over your waist, holding on to you. His purpose was to make sure you were comfortable and wouldn't fall. The butterflies could be felt in your and his stomach. However, you almost fell asleep. After making sure you weren't conscious, he leaned closer to your ear.

"I like you" (in your native language).
