"You feel the fever, Y/n!" Auden exclaimed, partly amazed from your failure to sense. Not going to lie, you thought about it a couple of times but still didn't believe it.
"Are you sure?" You asked uncertainly about the accuracy of his statement. You felt the symptoms for sure but was it because you were close to your soulmate. That sounded too unbelievable.
"Not on a 100%, but pretty sure. Plus, when you felt sick, a group of boys acted suspiciously. One of them might feel it. But if I have to be clear, all of these are mine speculations, and nothing is confirmed to be true." He clarified everything. You were grateful for his honesty.
"I saw them too, but unfortunately, I don't know who were these people." You shared your experience, knowing perfectly well that this will add to Auden's theory.
"Well, one thing is sure. You will meet your soulmate again." He assured you. You wanted to meet him more than ever, and your friend knew that. That's the reason he told you everything and to tease you, of course.
"So, you have found your soulmate, huh? My Y/nie has found her hubby!" He began with the mocking. A red flame ignited on your face. You were as red as a tomato. Your best friend saw that and smirked. His hobby was to tease you and see your embarrassed face.
"Oh, are you hot because your face is kind of red?" He continued, knowing that he irritated you. You were about to blow out and make him forget what was right and wrong.
"Stop it, you motherfucker!" You covered your redness with your hands, leaving the boy feeling even more satisfied with your actions. Using these words indicated that your patience ended.
"Hahahah, it's still fun to tease you like that." Memories returned 3 years in time. Both of you remembered how awkward was your friendship in the beginning. You smiled at him because it was time for revenge.
"You were so cute back then, and now you have lost your charm." You laughed at your comment and saw him getting upset. He showed his big teary eyes. The interpretation of a puppy suited him too well.
"I thought we were friends." He cried out. His acting skills were too good, and you felt guilty.
"It's a joke, you know." You responded the way he wanted you to. A smirk appeared on his face again. He was ready to do something.
"Of course, it's a joke, you drooling over me earlier." Auden hit your spot which made you even more irritated. The rest of the night was full of teasing and mocking, but it was extremely fun. You were more than happy to be there.
On the other hand
"Sunghoon, are you okay?" Jay asked the boy concerned. He wasn't okay at all, but he was better at least. That was stronger than the was time. Maybe it was time for him to start taking the pills.
"I'm better now." Sunghoon looked around. They were in a narrow street, so nobody could see them. The boy was calmer now, knowing that nobody, especially dispatch, will see him feeling the fever symptoms.
"I think your soulmate has gone since you are better now," Sunoo added to the tense situation. Honestly, telling him that his significant other was here wasn't the best idea. After all, they would be in such trouble if he started dating his soulmate.
"Maybe it's time to start taking the pills." He finally gave in. He had to listen, or the same situation would happen. Nobody wanted that.
"But I don't think it's a good idea to start now because we have a concert in a couple of days and the pills may cause unwanted side effects." Jungwon stopped him from making a hasty decision. He was right it was dangerous. What would the engenes think if he wasn't in his best shape? He didn't want to disappoint them.
"You are right. I will begin taking them after the concert." Sunghoon closed the theme with that sentence. That was his final answer. The next days before the concert he wasn't going to go out. He was going to practice all day long because he wanted everything to be perfect. To sum up, he didn't have reason to worry anymore.
The next day
You were in your flat, researching for good restaurants and shops in your area. After all, it was your second day here, and you didn't know almost anything about the environment. You knew only where your university was and the shops and stuff you saw yesterday with Auden, but that was in the expensive centre of Seoul, and you didn't have the money to go there every single day.
It was surprisingly quiet. You didn't expect to search in peace. The silence was so strong that you could hear any bird flying around. Why was it so close? And speaking of Auden where was he? He was too peaceful. Something was wrong. He hadn't come even once into your room since the morning. That was scary.
You kept thinking about that. Exactly when you decided to go check on him, you heard the door banging. It wasn't extraordinary that the person who did it was no other but Auden himself. He was more chaotic and excited than usual. You were so done with him sometimes that you just ignored him.
"Guess what happened!" Scream whooped in your ears. If he did something wrong again, you were going to abandon him. He had caused so much trouble for both of you. Honestly, it hasn't happened soon as if he had finally grown up, but it didn't hurt to be prepared if anything happens.
"What is it?" You asked tired of his jokes. The enthusiasm was nowhere to be found.
"Guess!" He jumped around, smiling from ear to ear. You were annoyed because when he behaved like that, it wasn't always good.
"I swear to god, Auden, if that's one of your pranks!" You yelled at him because you thought that it was a prank. He, however, didn't even move when you spoke out. The emotion was too strong for you to spoil it.
"I bought the last two seats on the third row for ENHYPEN's concert!" He screamed again, not trying to contain his voice. You were shocked. The inability to think had become stronger than your will. You warmed up a little and then you realised what was happening.
"WE ARE GOING TO ENHYPEN'S CONCERT!" You shouted while the adrenaline was taking over you. Your dreams were becoming reality. Not that you have dreamed of them and especially Sunghoon. There was nothing like that.
"YES!!!!!" Your best friend joined you in the uncontrollably jumping around. Believe it or not, that's how their day continued.
