"Y/n?" 

Oh, no. The stern voice sent shivers down your spine and made you terrified. The chills and hot waves made your body tremble. Cold sweats and tics made you go crazy. Every time the words repeated in your ears made you shudder. Sunoo noticed the look on your face as he understood who was the guy behind you. 

"Hello, my name is Kim Seon Woo. Nice to meet you." The boy decided to introduce himself and act like he didn't know him. The fact that Auden was an engene made him introduce himself with his whole name in case he didn't know his real name. However, as a real engene, Auden knew who he was, and besides that, his real name sounded a lot like his stage name.

"Nice to meet you." Auden was taken aback by the sudden meeting with his idol. He was angry at you, but at the same time, he was excited to meet Sunoo in real life face to face. On the other hand, you couldn't say a word.

"I am here to-" Sunoo was about to say that he took you home and was about to leave, but you squeezed his sleeve and grabbed his hand, signalising to him that you didn't want to stay alone with your best friend. The boy thought for a moment and analysed the situation. Taking everything in mind, he concluded that as an idol, he had the power to take you out of that position for now.

"Y/n invited me for a pyjama party for the two of us. It was nice meeting you. I hope we can spend more time together in the future." The boy reacted quick and pulled you out of the scene. Thanks to him, you returned to your senses and unlocked the door the fastest you could, leaving your best friend behind. The boy was looking at the closing door, still trying to comprehend what had just happened.

"I am so sorry, y/n! I ought to go home with the others." His words were interrupted by your sudden hug. You clasped him in your arms tightly, not wanting to even think of letting him go. After coming back to his senses, he returned the tight hug. At this point, it was obvious you were close enough to be best friends. His presence alone was more than plenty to make you feel better.

"Thank you for everything, Sunoo! I don't deserve you!" When you whined these words, you couldn't contain yourself anymore and burst into tears. Water drops were falling and falling as you cried and screamed. The boy didn't leave your side even for a second. He stood there, hugging you and trying to make you feel better. However, Sunghoon's words, the situation with Auden and the fact that you didn't deserve the guy in front of you were making you feel worse. The scenes were repeating themselves in your memories again and again.

"Why don't you deserve me? You are such a nice person. I haven't felt that good talking with someone for too long. Even if I am an idol doesn't mean that you can't be my friend. Besides everything, I choose whether to stay with you or not." He tried soothing you with his opinion, and luckily, he succeeded. Your tears stopped falling soon after those statements, and your eyesight cleared a little.

"I am so glad I met you and got to know you as an engene and as a friend." Your words made him soft. Meeting him wasn't a blessing only for you, but for him too. Who would have guessed that an engene like you would be so close with Sunoo, the sunshine of the group?

"I am sorry if I said something wrong to Auden. I had to think fast." The sweet boy who was seated next to you excused himself. He thought the things he said were wrong. However, you had others in mind.

"You said everything correctly. Thank you! Thanks to you, I have a little more time to think about what should I tell him." You assured him everything was alright and that he was helpful.

"Maybe you should tell him the truth. He is your best friend, after all. I am sure he will understand." Sunoo tried advising you.

"I thought so too, but he has been acting strange recently. That's why I'm scared to talk to him." You shared your concerns. The boy thought for a moment. How could he help you?

"I can be with you when you talk to him if you want." He offered, hoping that you would say yes.

"No need. I will be okay." You assured him. However, your whole face furled into a sad expression. Your eyes looked down before getting wet again. The cause of that was Sunghoon. 

"What are you thinking about?" The sweet boy noticed the sudden change in your mood. Therefore, he didn't receive an answer from you, so he thought to himself.

"Is it because of Sunghoon hyung?" He was right, and your widened eyes convinced him.

"I am so sorry, y/n. The life of an idol isn't easy. Maybe he had decided you should remain friends. We all know that's for the best." Sunoo was speaking facts, and you knew that. However, your feelings couldn't go away that easily. 

The rest of the night you were trying to feel better. Thanks to the pyjama party the two of you had together, it was easier for you to distract yourself from the previous events. The cheerful boy was keeping you happy and making the atmosphere fun.
