"What if y/n is your soulmate?" That question filled the silent space. Everyone looked around and began thinking. However, Sunghoon was frozen in one place. His soulmate?
Honestly, the last couple of days, he had forgotten about his symptoms. Thanks to the pills he had been taking since the concert, the symptoms weren't present. That's why he forgot about everything. There was another reason, of course. The boy had been so busy thinking about you that his soulmate had become non-existent.
"I have been thinking about it too. I remember when we were in I-land, it was difficult for you to make new friends at the beginning. However, you have known her for a week or so, and you are so close to her." Heeseung shared his opinion. He was right. It didn't make sense unless both of you had some sort of connection.
"Yeah, I agree. Sunghoon Hyung had never brought a girl or a boy even though he has an amazing visual and even better personality. He is like a magnet for everyone. Even with all of that, he had been focusing only on his career and never even thought of having a relationship. But here he is now whipped for someone he had seen at our concert and known for a week." Riki surprised everyone with his words. In an ordinary situation, he would be teasing his Hyung for that, but he is speaking only facts now.
"Besides that, have you noticed how Sunghoon's symptoms had begun since y/n came to Seoul? Not only that but the concert. He had felt the fever, and when he took a pill, he was alright, but we know that the pill works for both sides. That's why y/n was okay. Also, they had been looking at each other all the time during the concert. Plus, they are in the same university, and we know that soulmates attract each other in their lives. It can't be a coincidence." Jake shared his arguments making all of them think about it. Sunghoon was so confused after that.
"Well, how can we know for sure? I mean, he can't just go and ask her. She most likely doesn't have the slightest idea about that too." Sunoo's cheerful personality was put aside for now because that was too important.
"It's easy, actually. They are meeting the next Saturday again, right? If Sunghoon stops taking the pills before that when she comes here, they will both experience the symptoms, and we will know for sure." Jungwon offered the best way to know whether you and he were soulmates for real. Honestly, he was scared about the results because if it was right, you and Sunghoon wouldn't be able to date each other.
"I don't know, guys. I don't think it's a good idea." Sunghoon knew about the rule for soulmates in the kpop industry. That's why he didn't want to be your soulmate.
In the beginning, when they signed the contract, the first and most important rule was in bold and with the biggest font. It said, "IF BY ANY CHANCE, YOU FIND YOUR SOULMATE DURING THE CONTRACT IS ACTIVE, YOU CAN NOT DATE THEM! THE RULE IS SET BECAUSE OF THE CONFLICTS DATING YOUR SOULMATE CAN CAUSE! YOU HAVE TO LET YOUR MANAGER KNOW IF YOU FIND YOUR SOULMATE, AND THEY WILL MAKE SURE YOU STRICTLY FOLLOW THE RULE! IF YOU BREAK THE RULE, IT CAN CAUSE YOU TO BE FIRED AND FORCED TO LEAVE YOUR GROUP!" That took his attention, but at that time, he could never even imagine finding his soulmate so soon.
Honestly, at the beginning of his career, he didn't want to date anyone or become too close to anyone because of the dating rumours. The moment you came into his life, he had been rethinking everything. After all, he had a dating rumour with Bon-Hwa and be: lift took care of it. Although, he wasn't sure what to do yet.
The boy had been thinking about what would it feel like to be in a relationship with you. It would be dangerous not only for him but for you too. However, that won't be possible if you were soulmates.
"We should know whether she is your soulmate because if she is, you can't be with her." The leader stated what would be the best thing to do in that kind of situation. Sunghoon's head was a mess, but he knew that it would be best for their group to try.
"Okay, I will stop taking the pills before she comes on Saturday since it's best for the group."
