After thinking for an hour straight, Sunghoon decided it was time to sleep. Usually, he didn't have problems falling asleep, but that day was different. He fidgeted and hovered inside the blanket, but he couldn't fall asleep. All the members were already in bed, sleeping tight, except for Ni-ki, who was playing a video game.
His hyung went to check him. It was a perfect moment to spend some time with him. That's why he asked him if he could join. The boy was more than happy because of that. They started playing together and had some conversations.
"Why aren't you sleeping, Hyung?" Riki asked confused. He was worried because Sunghoon was the type of person that goes to sleep earlier than the others. It was unusual for him to stay up so late.
"Honestly, I couldn't sleep." The older one shared with him the reason.
"Do you have a lot on your mind?" The maknae of the group questioned. He was always concerned about the health of the others.
"I guess," Sunghoon answered quietly. He was unsure about the whole situation, and he didn't want to share it with others. But telling a little wouldn't hurt, he thought. Luckily, he talked with the right person.
"Is it about that girl from today? I saw her." The boy knew exactly what was happening. He didn't want to pressure his hyung into telling him everything if he didn't want to.
"Well, not exactly. She is the girl from the concert." Pink shade was visible on his face. He smiled a little too, looking down.
"I knew it. Do you like her?" The boy got curious.
"Promise me you won't tell anyone, even the members." He handed over his pinky and made the younger one give pinky promise.
"I promise!" The maknae was excited that Sunghoon shares only with him. And, of course, he wouldn't tell anyone.
"I am not sure whether I like her or not, but she can't leave my mind, and I don't know why. I have met a lot of engenes, but she is the only one I have felt like that with." The boy dared to share his feelings. He knew he could trust all the members, but he decided to share with only one for now.
"I see. Well, you don't know her. She can be a different person than you imagine her to be." Riki said his opinion on the situation. The thought of her being his soulmate crossed his mind, but he wasn't sure, so he decided to stay quiet about that.
"And that's what makes her different. I know the risk, and at the same time, I cannot stop thinking about her." Sunghoon shared his feelings and his concerns.
Ni-ki saw that his hyung's mood was becoming worse and worse. That's why he decided to break this conversation so that he doesn't make the boy overthink more. Also, he made him promise that whatever happens, he would consult with him. And then they continued the game.
After about an hour, the boys went to sleep. Luckily, he could finally sleep. About 1 or 2 hours had passed when he entered the REM sleep.
On the other hand, you were also fallen asleep. You entered the REM sleep around the same time Sunghoon did. That's when most dreams occur.
As you entered another sleep, a warm wave hit you. You woke up on a field full of white daisies. You realised you could feel the ground beneath you. As you wondered what was happening, you look around. It was as if you had a lucid dream, but it wasn't. The field was so bright.
You got up and saw a tree. It was soon bloomed cherry blossom. You had always liked the cherry blossoms. The tree was enormous. Some of the petals were shinning. Luminous floral pollen was falling from the tree. It was just magical. Next to the tree, on the ground, there were red tulips and the flowers named cosmos.
It was a beautiful dream, but before you knew it, someone appeared. It was a tall boy with silver-white hair. You couldn't recognise him from afar, but when he got closer... It was Sunghoon. You hadn't dreamed about him up until now. Maybe it was because of the earlier situation. He got closer and closer.
"Hi." He greeted shyly and bowed.
"Hi." You returned the kindness. It was too real. Your heart couldn't take it.
"What's your name?" Sunghoon asked you.
"I am y/n. Nice to meet you! I know your name, so I won't ask." Awkwardness filled the air.
"What are you doing here?" You wanted to break the awkwardness and silence.
"I don't know." He answered while looking around.
"Me neither." You shared as you stared at him.
"The cherry blossoms are wonderful." He shared as you agreed with him.
Both of you sit on the ground, looking at the tree. There was silence between the two of you, but not the awkward one from earlier. It was a comfortable one. You were switching your view from the tree to him. He looked stunning up close.
"You look gorgeous up close!" You risked it all. It was a dream, after all. You could tell him everything because it was just a dream. He chuckled.
"You are beautiful, too" Sunghoon complimented you, too. That made your heartbeat so fast that it was about to jump off your chest.
"I am so happy that I can see you here!" An exclamation from your side was heard by him. He smiled, and a red tone appeared on his cheeks.
"I am happy to finally meet you. You look like a good person, y/n." He made you fluttered by him.
The time you spent together was the best. You laughed, smiled and admired the fascinating view. It was the best dream you had ever had. Sunghoon was so kind to you.
Unfortunately, it didn't last for too long. A brighter light appeared in front of your eyes. The light swallowed you up. You wanted to stay, but you couldn't. In about 10 minutes, you woke up. When you realised what happened, you exclaimed.
"WHY DID I DREAM OF THAT?" You and Sunghoon exclaimed.
