My feet burn as I walk through the desert.
During the fight, Serene destroyed nearly all my clothes and left me without shoes.
But I'm not looking for a way out of this heat.
There were people so opposed to the mating of the siren and the Alpha King that they were willing to betray their kingdom and kill the queen.
And for that reason, I'm looking for survivors from those packs.
As I approach yet another body, I nudge it with my foot.
To my surprise, they stir gently.
"Who are you?" I demand.
The person groans as they roll over and look me in the eyes. "I'm the Delta of the Rose Moon pack."
I offer him my hand and I pull him up.
"Who are you?" the Delta asks, squinting.
"I'm Killian. And you're going to help me kill the Moon Goddess."
