"Oh my god. Rory, look at the freak over there staring at you!" Yasmine exclaimed.
Rory Teller turned around to look at Eli Moskowitz sitting at the lunch table behind hers. His face turned bright red as he saw her looking. She glanced at his best friend, Demetri, and he looked away quickly.
"Yasmine, I don't think you should call him a freak. I mean, he's nice," Rory defended.
Yasmine shot a disgusted look at the blonde. Rory glanced at Sam LaRusso. She gave her a sympathetic look. Sam and Moon were the only girls in the group that actually didn't make fun of people. Of course, they did their fair share of talking crap, but it was mostly Yasmine and the boys.
"Do you like him back or something? Because if you do, don't even sit here anymore. Go sit with your secret admirer," Yasmine said as the whole table broke out in laughter, "Plus, he looks like a lawnmower went down on him! And he's wearing the ugliest sweater known to mankind."
Rory sighed at looked back at the boy. She smiled at him and he put his head down. Rory actually used to be friends with Eli and Demetri throughout elementary and middle school. After Yasmine recruited her into the popular group, she deserted the boys and began to make fun of them. Luckily, Rory was beginning to realize her mistakes.
"Anyways, check out Fug-lisha! God, she looks like she ate a picnic table!" Yasmine snickered.
Rory was never friends with Aisha, but Sam was. Rory had tried to make friends with her recently, but because of her past reputation of being a bully, Aisha declined.
Suddenly, Kyler and his friends came over to the table. Kyler had a weird crush on Sam and his friend, Brucks, had one on Rory. Sam definitely liked Kyler, but Rory didn't feel the same way towards Brucks.
Rory saw the group coming over and picked up her lunch tray and backpack and began to walk off. She planned on going to the library for the rest of the lunch period.
"What are you doing, Rory! Don't tell me you're going to talk to the freaks!" Yasmine yelled across the lunch room.
Rory walked as close to Eli's table as possible. But not too close or obvious that Yasmine and the others would see. She made no eye contact with Eli, Demetri, or the new boy at their table she failed to notice earlier.
"Get the hell out of here Ro-" Demetri began.
Rory put a small sticky note next to Eli. Demetri was surprised that she didn't come and sit down. Eli furrowed his brows and looked down at the note. He opened the paper and read it.
"I'm sorry about them. I'm trying to change, maybe we could be friends again! :)"

Eli kept re reading the note that Rory had given him during lunch earlier. He didn't know wether to forgive and forget, or don't. Demetri told him to not refriend her.
"Eli, you know what she did to us. She basically bullied us for the past four years for no reason!" Demetri exclaimed.
Eli plopped down on his bed and stared at the note. He knew staring wouldn't change the words, he also know it wouldn't change the fact that Rory had, in fact, bullied them.
"She is changing, Demetri. I can tell!" Eli said.
Demetri furrowed his eyebrows and then dropped his head into his palm. He looked at Eli with a sort of sympathetic look, as knew that Eli trusted way too easily.
"Ok, she may be changing, but it doesn't make up for the shit she put us through since 7th grade! At least when she was around, we had someone to stand up for us. Now, we're hopeless," Demetri explained as he slumped down onto Eli's bed.
