act II chapter VI

The next morning, Rory showed up to the Cobra Kai dojo to tell Johnny that she had to quit. She hoped that he would not be too mad at her and understand why she had to do this.

"If one of you confess, you can all stop!" Johnny shouted as Rory walked through the door.

All of the students were exercising intensely as Johnny looked at them with angry looks. When he saw Rory in the door way without her gi on, he looked even more angry and annoyed.

"Teller! Why are you late and not in your gi?" He shouted at her.

"We need to talk," She said, making eye contact with Kreese who was standing in the corner.

As Johnny saw where Rory's eyes led , he sighed and motioned for her to follow him into her office.

"So, you know?" Johnny sighed as he closed the door and sat down.

"Yeah, I know, and I know that you were hiding it from me all this time! How could you not tell me!" Rory cried.

Johnny sighed and looked at Rory, "Look, it wasn't my place to say anything. I told your mom to tell you, but she got too nervous."

Rory sat down next to Johnny and rolled her eyes. She could tell he felt bad for keeping this from her, but Rory was still confused as to why he let her get so close to Kreese when he knew that it was going to end bad.

"I'm sorry, but I can't be in Cobra Kai anymore," Rory said sadly.

Johnny shook his head, "No, no you don't have to quit! We need you, Teller!"

"Well, I can't be here anymore! I'm really sorry," Rory apologized.

Johnny tried to convince her not to leave, but he suddenly stopped and sighed. He nodded and stood up to face Rory.

"Alright, if that's what you need to do, I'll support it," Johnny said.

Rory furrowed her eyebrows, "Really?"

Johnny nodded and pulled Rory into a hug. Although she wouldn't be his student anymore, Rory would always be like a daughter to Johnny.

As they began walking out of the office, Rory looked at Johnny confused, "Wait, why are the kids getting punished? What happened?"

Johnny sighed, "Someone trashed the Miyagi-Do dojo and they won't confess who did it."

Rory quickly looked behind her to look directly at the person who she knew did this; Hawk. He looked back at her, looking disappointed and embarrassed. His face was all bruised up from the mall fight yesterday.

"Shit, you have no idea who did it?" Rory asked.

Johnny shook his head. Rory looked back at Hawk, who was still staring directly at her.

After telling Johnny about her departure from Cobra Kai, she headed over to the Miyagi-Do dojo to see the damage. She could not believe that Hawk would even think about doing that.

When she arrived at the dojo, Daniel, Sam, Robby, and Demetri were already there trying to pick up the mess.

"Rory, nice to see you!" Daniel smiled at the girl.

Rory looked around at all the damage with a sense of guilt. Even though she had nothing to do with Hawk doing this, she knew this was his way on getting back at her for leaving Cobra Kai for Miyagi-Do. Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw "traitor" spray painted on the fence.
