Every Saturday morning, Rory and her mother had breakfast with the LaRusso's. Normally, it wasn't a problem. But, today, it was the worst experience ever. Rory had to hide the fact that she watched Daniel's cousin burn and wreck Johnny's car. Plus, Daniel had a burning hate for her already.
"Rory, honey, why are you not talking? You're usually more upbeat. Is everything alright?" Rebecca whispered to her daughter.
"No, I'm fine. Just tired," Rory lied.
Rebecca suspected that she was lying, but brushed it off so they could have a good breakfast.
Suddenly, Rory's worst nightmare came to life. They heard yelling coming from the front of the house. And Rory knew that voice anywhere. Johnny Lawrence.
"LaRusso!! We need to talk about what you did last night!" Johnny shouted.
Rebecca looked out the window and saw Johnny standing angrily outside. She noticed him, obviously since they dated.
"Daniel, is that Johnny Lawrence?" Rebecca asked, "What's going on?"
Rory sunk down into her seat. Her secret would definitely be revealed now. And everyone would find out that she had kept quiet about the attack.
"I have no clue," Daniel responded, glancing at Rory.
Rebecca opened the door. Johnny's face went from angry to calm.
"Becca?" Johnny said softly.
"Hey, Johnny," Rebecca sighed.
Rory hid herself as much as possible. She grabbed the attention of Amanda, who was giving her weird looks. She definitely suspected her to know something.
"What are you doing at LaRusso's place?" He asked.
"Well, me and my daughter, Rory, have breakfast here every Saturday. Why don't you meet her," Rebecca explained, motioning for Rory to come over.
That was it. She was screwed. Her lies were being unfolded piece by piece. Rory slowly got up and walked over to the door. Johnny caught a glimpse of her and his eyes widened.
"Hey, Johnny," Rory sighed
"Rory? She's your daughter?!" Johnny exclaimed.
Rebecca looked between the two, very confused. She looked at her daughter, sort of angry, but mostly confused, then at Johnny with surprise.
"Wait, wait. What are you guys talking about?! You know each other?" Rebecca asked frantically.
Rory looked at Johnny with the "What do we do?!" face and he responded with a "Just tell the truth." face.
"Ok, mom, so I've been taking karate classes with Johnny. I dropped Yasmine and Moon because they were bullying Demetri and Eli and I decided I wanted to be friends with them so that's why I got into a fight with Kyler and Johnny asked me to join his dojo because I won, and I fell in love with karate!" Rory rambled on.
"Hey, hey, I'm not mad! I was just really confused!" Rebecca assured the girl, "Now why are you mad at Daniel? Don't tell me this karate rivalry is still in play from the 80's!"
Daniel was giving Rory a dirty look. The same look he gave her at the Town Hall.
"Well I'm not ok with it! First, Sam tells me you've been rude to her at school, and now your joining Cobra Kai?! What has gotten into you, Rory?!" Daniel shouted.
"Hey! Rory is a sweet girl and she did nothing to your asshole daughter who was the one who crashed into my car a couple months ago!" Johnny yelled.
"Do not talk about my daughter like that!" Daniel screamed back
