For the past few days, Rory had been spending all day in the dojo. Since she had been suspended for the whole week, Johnny allowed her to go to the dojo whenever she wanted. It was so she could get some extra practice in. She had only remembered some of the moves Daniel had taught her.
Suddenly, the shop bells jangled. She assumed it was either Johnny or Miguel, but to her surprise, it was Hawk.
"Hawk? Don't you have school?" Rory asked checking the time on her phone.
It was only 8:30am but school started at 8:00.
"Well, I don't think one absence will hurt me. I was on my way to school and I saw your car here and thought I'd stop by," Hawk explained.
Rory gave him a confused look, "If you were on your way to school, how did you get here at 8:30?"
Hawk's face turned a bright red color. He let out a nervous chuckle before grinning at Rory.
"Well, I actually contemplated coming in here for a good 30 minutes. I thought you might think I was like stalking you," Hawk confessed.
Rory chuckled at the boy's awkwardness. Despite the fact that he had changed his appearance, Hawk still was Eli.
"So, you ditched school to see me?" Rory asked.
"Uh, yeah, I did," Hawk replied with a smile.
Rory smiled back at him. Hawk kicked his sneakers off and joined her on the mat.
"I've been working on my punches. I did it like you taught me," Hawk said.
"Show me," Rory replied.
Hawk smirked at the blonde girl. He faced the punching bag that Rory was previously using. He began to repeatedly punch it. Rory watched in shock at how good he had improved.
"Oh my god, Eli- I mean Hawk. That's amazing!" Rory exclaimed.
Hawk chuckled. He leaned in towards Rory to kiss her for the second time. Suddenly, he door slammed open. In walked Johnny Lawrence.
"The hell are you doing here?" Johnny asked Hawk.
"Oh, I'm just stopping by. But, I'll see you at practice," Hawk stuttered.
Rory's face turned red as Hawk winked. He left the dojo and Johnny walked into the room carrying a Coors Banquet.
"You two are in love and shit, aren't you?" He scoffed.
"In love, no, no," Rory denied.
But the truth was, she was in love. And what she didn't know, so was Hawk.

The next day, Rory had to come back to school. It had been a week since the school fight. Kyler and his friends didn't even dare to go near her or Miguel. They were basically the most respected kids in school.
At lunch time, Rory walked over to her usual table, the one with Hawk, Demetri, and Miguel. Except, it wasn't just them today. There a bunch of other Cobra Kai's there.
"Uh, ok? This is strange. More people at this table?" Rory asked as she sat down in between Demetri and Hawk.
"Yeah! Isn't this awesome? Now we're both popular!" Hawk exclaimed, putting his arm around Rory's shoulder.
Rory nervously laughed. She wanted to have some popularity, but not be popular. Being popular made her think of Yasmine and what she did when she was friends with her.
Sam came down and sat next to Miguel. Ever since he had come to her defense when Kyler started talking bad about her, she had seemingly taken an interest in him.
