Kakashi shifted on his feet as he watched Sarah moving around the group that had lingered after the wedding.  He wanted to just grab her up and take her to the nearest bed.  He had been waiting to claim her for so long, he was almost burning inside.  He had been so thankful when Neo had said she would take Phoenix for the week because the things he wanted to do, it would have been a challenge with a four-year-old around.  He had fantasized for too long about this.  The only thing that had cooled him down was coming to face-to-face with Orion for the first time since all those years ago.

It had been like looking at Obito, only the color of his eyes had been different.  It was a surreal feeling, and a moment of awkwardness went over him, knowing that his former best friend and nemesis had already taken the woman he loved.  Inwardly he flinched, damn it Obito.  He had known just how to hit low and dirty.  Bastard.  Yet... as he watched the younger man, he realized there was a part of him that was thankful Obito's line had not passed on into eternity with him.  As he watched Neo slip out with Phoenix, he had waited long enough.

He quietly came up behind her as she spoke with Might Guy, Iruka, and Melissa then swung her up into his arms.  She made a startled sound then giggled as he said, "If you will excuse us, we have some unfinished business."  She was shaking with laughter as he almost bolted out of the temple with her in his arms.

"You're terrible," she laughed.  "We could have waited a few more minutes."

Sarah was almost speechless at the silent hot look he gave her.  She had to look away as it was making her stomach do flip flops.  She was surprised to see that he was heading in a direction opposite of where she lived.  She had just assumed that they were going to her place.  The looks from the villagers as they went past was almost humorous.  She could just imagine the rumors that would swirl before it leaked out that the Lord Sixth had gotten married.  A little bit of a devil rose up in her before she leaned close to his ear to whisper, "Imagine if they had caught us earlier."

Kakashi almost tripped at the reminder then narrowed his eyes on her as she giggled in his arms.  Brat. It felt like an eternity before he finally got her home and set her down for a moment to pull his keys out.  She was looking around the outside of the place with a curious expression.  He had bought the home when he was the Hokage.  It had been a little larger than he had needed, and he wondered if on some level he had still been holding out a little hope.

Sarah was surprised at the home.  It was just on the edge of the residential district and rather large for a single man.  The paint was a soft shade of green with white trim.  Everything was neat and immaculate.  He took good care of his place.  She made a small sound when he abruptly grabbed her up again before carrying her into the home.  She half expected him to be all on her the minute he set her down, so she was surprised when he set her down gently once inside and stepped back a moment to let her look around.

"I thought... we'd live here?"

The home was beautiful with wooden floors that gleamed, the green theme outside followed inside with his furnishings and the various artwork about.  Green must be his favorite color.  It was a far cry from the used furnishings she had at her home.  Everything felt new, mostly because he took such good care of it, she suspected.

"Oh definitely... Phoenix will love the yard alone... It's very beautiful, Kakashi..."

Sarah turned towards him, and she sucked in a breath as she saw that he had already removed his mask.  The look in his eyes sent heat into her even before he reached for her.  His hand sank into her hair at the base of her head, while his other hand snaked around her waist to pull her towards him.  He lowered until he was only a few inches from her lips, those gray eyes of his looking intently into her own.  They went over her face, as if he was memorizing every detail before he closed the distance and slowly started kissing her in an almost drugging fashion.
