United In Mind

Neo flinched as sunlight poured in through her window as a soft breeze ruffled her curtain.  Despite the slightly cool temperature rolling in, she was so warm curled up in Orion's arms.  His soft breaths were rolling across her neck, while his muscular arm was wrapped fully around her waist as he had her tucked flush against his body.  She smiled slightly, enjoying the feel of his warm body against her.  She almost giggled because she could feel he was slightly aroused already.  Where his body had the stamina she couldn't say because he had taken her so many times in the night, she had stopped counting!  Her lips twitched and she was tempted to slip back into sleep... at least she was going to until the softest giggle reached her ears.

Neo's eyes flared open, seeing Phoenix standing by her bed.  Her blue eyes were narrowed slightly in almost the same way that Sarah would give when she was very amused about something.  She felt her face flush in embarrassment.  Sarah was going to kill her and Orion when she found out Phoenix had caught them in bed together.  How does one even explain to a four-year-old what was going on without going into too much details?  She decided to brazen it out like nothing was out of the ordinary.

"Hey sweetie, you're up early."

Phoenix giggled again, "Why is my brother snuggling you?"

Neo started to answer to have Orion suddenly say with a husky morning voice, "We're married, brat.  I'll be snuggling her all the time.  Now go get ready for school and we'll be out in a little while."

Phoenix's eyes widened, "You're my sister now?"

Neo's mouth was working but no words would come out.  What the hell was he thinking saying that to her?!  Orion spoke again while she tried to gather her wits, "Yes, now go so we can get ready and close the door!"

Phoenix gave an excited squeal before running out of the room and slamming the door behind her.  Orion chuckled as he leaned up on his elbow.  Neo spun towards him with narrowed eyes, "Now why the hell did you tell her that?!"

Orion smirked, "Because it's true, Neo."

"Having sex does not equate being married, Orion," she growled at him as she flung the blanket off her body.

"With an Uchiha it does," he smirked.  "A little tidbit Sasuke told me about last night.  You and I are permanently joined together.  I did ask you if you were sure you wanted to proceed last night, did I not?"

Neo's mouth dropped open as she jumped off the bed and backed up from him.  "Now wait a damn minute, Orion.  You can't mean... I mean, you didn't say that...  I mean, you've obviously were not a virgin, not after everything you did!"

Orion raised a brow at her then chuckled.  His eyes met her own but she was not prepared for what happened next as his eyes did not shift into the Sharingan.  No, I was not a virgin but all of my lovers in the past was prior to awakening the Sharingan.  We are connected in our minds now, Neo.  Our souls have literally blended together. He spoke clearly in her mind.

"Sasuke explained that is why I have been so obsessed with you because the process started that day our two minds first met but the link wasn't permanent until we joined together in body," he then said with a smug smile.

"Orion Jonathan Uchiha, how could you without telling me first?!"

He came off the bed so fast that it almost made her gasp.  Shinobi were hellishly fast but Orion was faster than most.  His hands gripped her arms and she was very aware that they were both still naked from the night of lovemaking.  His eyes narrowed with humor again as he looked down at her.

"You said you were mine forever or did you forget?"

Neo felt her face flush.  Ride or die, she had committed that to herself the night before; however, she was a bit irritated that he had done something like that to her without telling her.  It didn't matter that she would never want another after him.  "Yes but-"
