Orion was half asleep as he went to answer the banging on the front door.  Neo murmured but he told her to go back to sleep.  He pulled his pants on before trudging across the dark living room to the front door.  The ANBU standing outside instantly brought him awake.  He had been out of the clink for almost a week.  Today, he and Neo were actually going to return Phoenix to his mother as she and Lord Sixth had now had plenty of time to get freaky.  He stiffened as he looked at the ANBU, wondering what could have sent them to his door this damn early in the morning.

"What's wrong?" Orion asked as he straightened.

"Lord Seventh has sent this to you," the ANBU responded, handing him a scroll. "He says it is of great importance.  Be prepared to be summoned sometime today."

Orion gave a nod of his head, not looking at the scroll until the ANBU left. He shut the door before opening the scroll.  He felt a chill go down his spine as he looked at the warning inside.  He shifted his eyes to where Neo was sleeping.  Fuck.  He was going to have to tell her and their peaceful little time was going to be disrupted without a doubt.  Yet, he would be damned if she lived in fear.  He would go above and beyond to protect her.  He sighed heavily before slowly walking to the bed and sitting down beside her.  He hesitated for a moment, tempted to not tell her, then shook it off.  She'd be hellishly pissed if he didn't tell her right away.

Neo frowned as she felt Orion shaking her, speaking her name softly.  She curled into a tighter ball, wanting nothing more than to go back to sleep.  He chuckled softly then shook her again.  "Sweetheart, you need to wake up.  I have to tell you something."

"Mmm, can't it wait?"

"No."

Neo moaned before reluctantly opening her eyes a crack.  She scowled at him then woke up abruptly as she felt the emotions rolling over her.  The most predominant being anger and concern.  "What happened?"

"Niko and his buddies escaped," Orion muttered.

"What?!" she gasped as she sat up.  "How the hell did they break out of an ANBU-"

"The Foundation," Orion almost spit out, his anger rolling over her.  "Some of their men that were loyal to him broke them out.  The ANBU and the Foundation are both searching for them and the traitors as we speak.  I should have killed the bastard."

Neo threw her arms around him and held him tight, forcing the fear rising up in her down.  "No, I'm glad you didn't.  If you had, you'd be still sitting in that jail and he would have gotten away with everything he did.  Now... he has to run all the days of his life and when they find him... he will be executed as a Rogue.  Him and all those loyal to him."

Orion relaxed a little at the words then sighed heavily, pressing his lips to the curve of her neck.  "You are right, of course."  He glanced at the time before pulling back, "Let's try to get a little more sleep before Phoenix wakes up and starts raising hell."

Neo chuckled, "Now, she's not that bad.  I'm actually going to miss having her around."

"I love her but I'm looking forward to having you all to myself," Orion said with a husky tone in his voice.  "I have some definite fantasies I'd like to play out..."

"Oh yeah?" she grinned at him.

"Most definitely, you're my addiction."

Neo gave him an almost devilish look while threading her fingers through his dark hair.  "Hmm... I think I'd rather play out one of those fantasies instead of sleeping."

"Mmmm, your wish is my command kitten."

Sarah giggled as Kakashi nuzzled her neck as the sun started peeking through the small opening in their bedroom.  He had been extra affectionate through the night seeing as it was their last night alone for a long while.  Where he had the stamina was a mystery to her.  Her previous husband, while quite vigorous, had nothing on Kakashi in the bedroom.  Perhaps it had been all the years of denial, but she wasn't going to complain in the least.  He made her feel like she was the most desirable, sexy woman in the world... and what inspiration he was giving her for her next book!  But...
