When I got the call from Rice on March 15, 2016, that was the day my life changed for the worst. I saw his smiling face light up on my screen, and when I opened the FaceTime, there stood Carol, holding my brother's face in her hand.

"What. The. Fuck," I growled, "get off of my brother this instant."

"I'm sorry, why do I have to listen to you?" She smirked, and my heart stopped beating, "I'm the one who's actually with him."

"Don't you dare fucking touch a hair on his head or I swear to god I will kill you with my bare hands."

She pretended to be scared before pulling a hair from my brother's head, "you have till tonight at midnight to surrender. If you don't, you'll never see him again." And she hung up the phone. I was furious. I started throwing things into a small black bag before jogging downstairs to get some food.

"Hey doll what's going on?" James asked as he walked into the kitchen, "hey, what happened?"

My eyes watered as I looked at him, "they have Rice."

His eyes grew cold, and he nodded before helping me pack, "I'm coming with you."

"No. I need to do this on my own," I whispered, "I'm killing Carol with my bare fucking hands."

"What if it's a trap?" He asked, "I'm not letting you blindly walk into a potential trap. I'm not losing you."

"Fine then come with me. But I'm leaving now," I mumbled, walking out the door and starting the car. It was going to be a long drive. 13 hours to be exact. I made it in 10.

"So what's the plan?" I asked as I made a sharp turn onto 9th street.

"I'll go in first, you hide behind whatever you can to make it seem like you couldn't bother coming," James replied, loading his gun full of bullets, "and if they have more than one person there, you show yourself."

"What happens if they booby-trapped Rice?" I asked, and James thought for a second.

"I'll take care of that. You do what you need to do with Carol."

"I can kill her?" I asked, and James nodded silently, "are you sure? I don't want Rice to be traumatized."

"I'll make him close his eyes. Don't worry," he smiled softly, "I've got it all taken care of doll, all you need to do is figure out how you're going to deal with Carol.

"Okay."

We were 2 hours from my brother being hurt, and I knew exactly where they would be. I loaded every fucking gun I had, busting through the door not afraid to shoot anyone in sight. And there in the middle of my room, sat my brother who was now tied up to a chair.

James gave me a nod, and I stayed back while he carefully approached my brother.

"We weren't expecting you James. Where's your little girlfriend?" A voice said from the darkness. How the fuck could they not see me? Then Carol stepped out into the light, as did Natasha and my mother. So I stepped out into the light myself.

"You are all fucking traitors, you know that?" I asked, "and now I kill you."

"So it's just you and James?" My mother smirked, "what are you guys going to do against us?"

"She has help," I heard someone say behind me, and when I turned to see who it was, there stood Sam, Wanda, and Steve. Steve was heartbroken.

"I thought you would become my wife Nat," he said softly, "but you are a traitor."

"No Steve!" She exclaimed, "you weren't supposed to know!"

"Well I do," he spat, loading his gun as James tried untying my brother. But they had other plans.
