The next day, we spent all day drinking champagne in the bubble bath while we discussed our final plan to defeat my mother who had now teamed up with Thanos and who knows how many more people.

"I think," I paused, taking a bite of a chocolate strawberry, "that we should initiate the attack this time. Not them."

"I completely agree."

"I think we should send them a package with everything they need to know, and I have a few things I'd like to do before we send it," I said with a blank stare, imagining chopping the head off of one of her coworkers and sending it to her doorstep in a box.

"No," James said firmly, "you are not cutting off limbs and sending them in a box."

"How the fuck did you figure that out?!" I exclaimed, laughing as he shrugged his shoulders.

"I know you inside and out doll," he laughed, "especially all your murderous tendencies."

"Then what do you think we should do?" I asked, and he paused for a second.

"I think we should write a note, send it to their doorstep, and if they don't show up, we show them who's boss. If they don't agree to the terms, we win," he explained, and I nodded my head, "but we have to figure out what the terms are first."

"All weapons allowed except bombs," I whispered, "then I can throw my knives."

"Okay, good," he smiled, "and this is for all the marbles. If we lose this, we lose it all."

"Not each other right?" I asked quietly, and his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling my back to rest against his stomach.

"Never doll," he whispered, kissing my neck softly, "we aren't doing that again."

"It was a mistake," I mumbled, and he nodded his head as he rested it on my shoulder, "I think we should do it where we're comfortable."

"What about the warehouse?" He asked, and I gave him a weird look, "I grew up working in a warehouse with my mom. I know it inside and out, and it's abandoned so nobody will be in there."

"Sounds perfect," I smiled, "who do we bring?"

"Steve will be with us on our side. So will Sam."

"I can get Wanda, Vision, Yelena, and maybe T'Challa. Tony is a maybe too," I sighed, "we didn't really end on the best terms..."

"That's okay doll," he whispered, "we have more than enough people on our side."

"But what if they have more?"

"We want this more than they do, which means we will fight harder," he explained, and I nodded my head, "don't worry Jessica, I'll handle it okay? Pick who you want to take."

"I want my mother."

"Are you sure?" He asked, "nobody who you don't have a connection with?"

"I want my mother. I want to kill her with my bare hands," I whispered, and he nodded silently, "you know what she did to me James.. it's my turn to give it right back."

"I completely understand doll," he whispered back, "we'll finish this with everyone here okay? For now just enjoy your bath and your strawberries."

"And you," I said quietly, snuggling into his body as he chuckled to himself.

"And me."

A few hours went by, and after our toes and fingers became wrinkly, we decided to just cuddle on the couch. James wrapped me up in his clothes, his sweatshirt, his sweats. Everything smelled like him, which made me feel safe. I laid on top of him as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"How does your stomach feel doll?" He asked softly, staring down at me intently.

"It's a little sore," I whispered, "but you make it better."

"I do?" He asked, and I nodded my head as I closed my eyes.

"Mhm," I said sleepily, "you make everything better."

"Im glad I do doll," he whispered, kissing the top of my head, "are you a little sleepy?"

"Just a little," I yawned, and he chuckled.

"Go to sleep baby, I won't move until you wake up," he smiled, "sweet dreams beautiful."

"I love you James," I whispered, already dozing off.

"I love you more doll."
