Sitting at their usual lunch table, Meredith was waiting for Addison and the rest of her friends, she felt like everyone was staring at her following the mornings confrontation but she couldn't be certain. Sat on her lunch try was a chicken pasta, a bottle of water and some grapes but she didn't want to start eating without her friends so she waited.

"No one to throw yourself at in school?" She heard and her eyes closed with dread.

Meredith didn't say anything she just chose to ignore the girl and be the bigger person, popping a grape into her mouth she watched as the girl sat down opposite her.

"I'm talking to you." She snorted.

"I don't want to argue with you, please. I didn't do anything wrong at the party, my friends saw what happened so please, leave me alone." Meredith said.

She heard sniggering from behind her coming from the other girls.

"Your not so brave when your on your own are you? No point in hiding yourself now, Meredith, everyone already knows your a whore."

"I'm not a whore." She argued back.

"Oh please, look at you." The girl looked her up and down and Meredith felt humiliated.

"Look, I'm just sitting here waiting for my friends to join me for lunch, just leave me alone, please." She didn't want to beg but this girl just would not go away.

"You, friends? Like anyone would want to be friends with you, there all just using you."

"Whatever." Meredith looked down and rolled her eyes discreetly, apparently not discreetly enough.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" The girl stood up from her seat. Meredith felt herself struggling to breathe.

"N-ye-I..." her breathing started to become erratic and the girl looked at her with a frown.

"What's the matter with you are you some kind of freak." She sniggered.

They all watched Meredith as she sat there struggling to breathe, laughing and pointing at her. Until one girl spoke, one she'd never heard before.

"You need some water?" She said before she opened the cap of Meredith's water and threw it in her face.

All the girls laughed as she sat there wet, they all ran away laughing, Meredith sat there before getting up with her bag and leaving the school crying.

***********

"I'd give her a solid 8/10." Mark chimed.

"Really? Impressive man, impressive." Derek laughed at Mark whilst sitting in the study hall during their free afternoon period.

"She was good, bendy is better." He winked.

"So the dancers are the new cheerleaders now?" Derek joked.

"All I'm saying is i'd definitely have a repeat."

"A repeat of what?" Addison asked as she joined them.

"Mark slept with Lexie at the party." Derek admitted smirking.

"Cut it out Shep you idiot." Mark hissed to which Derek just laughed at.

"Ugh, I swear you too never change." Addison said in disgust.

"You didn't seem to mind in the summer Addie." Mark sniggered and received a high five from Derek.

"Don't remind me." She rolled her eyes.

"Anytime darling, anytime."

"Where's Mer?" Addison asked.

"Don't know, I haven't seen her since this morning." Said Derek.

"I've called her cell but she hasn't answered and I haven't seen her at all, not even at lunch." Addison said as she starred to worry where her friend was.

"I'm sure she's fine. She's probably studying somewhere." Mark said whilst chewing on a sour patch kid.

"Hmm probably" Addison hummed.

Something didn't feel right to Derek, nothing was adding up especially since Meredith's strange behaviour that morning.

"Did Mer come and find you this morning Addison?" He asked

"No? Why? Did she need me for something?" She asked curiously.

"Oh. She said she had cramps, she was going to ask your Tylenol." Derek told her.

"Oh no, she never came to me." Addison said.

And that prompted the question of the day.

Where was Meredith?
