Jaemin sits still at his bedside in his dark room. His gaze traced the night sky as the moonlight streamed into his room, acting as a light source. The stars that surround the lone moon provide peace to the gloomy skies.

"At least you have the stars with you tonight," he said to the moon, sighing as he lowered his head. "I hope I could see her once, not in my dreams, but in real life," he mumbled again as he spoke to the moon.

"I remember the first time I dreamed about her. I suppose that was the night when everything went wrong for her. It's funny how I thought that, but I saw her smiling that night, which was my first and last time seeing that lovely face "He kept going, oblivious to the tears that eventually ran down his cheeks.

"I'm home," Yujin spoke as she entered her house, with a smile on her face. Her smile fades faster than she could have expected when her mother does not welcome her like she used to.

"I'm pretty sure she's home," she whispered under her breath as she took steps into the house, only to be halted by the sound of glass cracking. Yujin came to a halt on her feet, as every hair on her body quivering.

"Mom?" she called out, taking a hesitant step into the living room before catching sight of her mother, who was lying on the floor with blood all over her head. "Mom," she shouted, crouching by her mother as she sobbed. Her mother's face was covered with bruises.

Her hands wander, unsure where to touch her, afraid of hurting her. "Mom, what happened?" she sobbed, attempting to grasp everything in her head.

"Yujin, run," Yujin's mother tearfully whispered. "Huh? Why? "Yujin murmured, but before her mother could respond, Yujin was grabbed and yanked from behind, causing her to writhe in pain.

Her voice rang through out their house. As she turned around to face her Uncle, the stench of alcohol invaded her nose. "Look who we've got here," his gruff voice sent chills up her spine as his gaze moved across her face.

The pain in her hair was causing her to cry. "Let me go," Yujin whimpered, struggling to free herself from his clutches. Yujin takes her chances to kick her uncle in the groin, causing him to let go of her hair.

Yujin crawled across the room as her legs gave away. She didn't go any farther when his uncle grabbed her ankle and yanked her back. "Please Donghae, please don't hurt her," her mother pleaded his brother as she used all of her remaining might to stop him.

Donghae strikes another kick on Yujin's mother stomach, causing her mother to cry in pain. Yujin screamed when she saw her mother, fighting Donghae, who was twice her size. "Mom!" Yujin screamed, collapsing next to her almost unconscious mother.

Yujin was then carried into a storeroom beneath the stairway while Donghae shut and locked the door. Panic poured over her as the blackness within made her chest tight. "Please let me out," she wailed, shaking the door, which had just one gap in it.

"If you keep yelling, I'll murder your mother," he growled, causing Yujin to gasp and put her hands across her lips to keep from making any noises. Yujin stood there watching as Donghae approached her mother and demanded the money.

"Tell me where it is, or I'll sell her," Donghae shouted, kicking his mother's frail body. Yujin watched as her mother pointed to her room, and Donghae didn't waste any time in taking all of the money in the household.

The next thing she knows, he's gone, and her life has been flipped upside down.

Jaemin opened his eyes as he recalled his first dream about Yujin. He was there while everything went down for her. From her sobbing to her excruciating screams. He was there still to see it all. He assumed it was simply another horrible dream and that everything would be alright when the morning comes.

It appears like Yujin does not want to leave his dream, as Jaemin continues to watch all of the horrible things that bring darkness into his life. Jaemin wipes the tears from his eyes as he turns around to see his bedroom door open from the outside.

"Min, your father wants to speak with you," his mother stated, peering through the open door. Jaemin nodded, rising from his bed and exiting his bedroom into the main area. Jaemin sat across from his father, who was drinking his favourite tea.

Jaemin centred his entire attention on them because he knows what wonderful parents they are. They always want everything to go well for him. Jaemin waited for his father to finish his tea.

"So, uh, Jaemin," his father began. "I'd like to inform you that we will be moving to Jeonju on Wednesday." Jaemin was surprised by the news but remained expressionless. What a surprising decision to return to his hometown.

"Because we believe that the city environment will not help you heal, we have decided to return to my mother's house in Jeonju." "Do you remember the one we lived on when you were seven?" His father went on.

Jaemin tried to recall things, but nothing came to mind. "How about your job?" He asked his concerns to leave their jobs so that he could heal. Guilty he is. His father smiled at him; after all, he was still their lovely son who cared about everyone around him.

"I'll start working at my friend's hospital there, and your mom has transferred to this small elementary school so she can work and help you at the same time there," his father explained as he sipped another cup of tea.

Jaemin gave a nod. He believes there is an answer somewhere in Jeonju. Will there be one?
