The seven-years old girl sat on the ground, her little hands busy making a flower crown out of flowers she plucked from her house garden. The sun beamed brightly into her skin as she painted a smile on her lips. She held up the handcrafted flower crown, admiring how lovely it looked in the sunlight.

Screaming sounds from other house drew her attention to three more kids her age. There are two girls and one boy. Yujin stood up and strode along the pathway towards the next residence. The other three were too busy throwing balls in front of their own yard to notice her.

Bi stayed there watching Ri and Jaemin play together without passing the ball to her. She hesitantly extended her hand to take the ball. Jaemin approached her gently and placed the ball in her hands. Ri stamped her feet and approached her, pushing her to the ground.

Jaemin was surprised and turned to face Ri, but before he can even say anything, Ri yanked Jaemin away from Bi and brought him to their backyard. Bi sobbed and wiped her tears away with the back of her palm. Yujin, who was there, knelt down beside her.

Yujin smiled at Bi as she set the flower crown on top of her head. Bi's eyes fluttered, and her lips curled into a broad smile. Yujin pulled Bi her up and wiped her tears away. "Hello, my name is Jinnie," Yujin said, extending her hand to shake.

Bi accepts her hand and shakes it. "I'm Bi, Na Bi," she said, a smile on her lips. "Your eyes are so cute," Yujin said, making Bi grin even bigger. "Would you want to go make another flower crown?" Yujin suggested. Bi heartily nodded as she clutched Yujin's hand.

Jaemin's gaze followed the two as they walked to the house next to them, with smile on their face. His gaze was drawn to the girl, whose caramel brown hair was twisted up into a ponytail. Jaemin finds her smile as contagious since it causes his lips to curve into a grin.

"Jaemin, come in. Help mommy put the balloons on,".

"Where have you been, Bi? It's time for the birthday party, ". Bi smiled at the woman with her famous eyes. "I played with Jinnie, and see, she made me a pretty flower crown," the child said joyfully, holding up her crown. Jia responded with a smile and a nod.

Jaemin  envied the girl.

"Oh here Jaemin, Jinnie said this one for you as well," Bi added, holding out a nicely made flower crown made from a pink flower that name he didn't know. Jaemin's eyes lit up as he took it from Bi and ran into the mirror, where he set it on crown of his head.

"It's time for the cake!" Jaemin's father called from downstairs, urging the three kids to run downstairs and gather around the table. "Happy Birthday!!" screamed everyone present, causing the three eyes to glow and their grin to widen as they joyfully clapped.

Jaemin sat on the couch, a smile on his face, fiddling with the crown tip on his head. "Jaemin," Ri said as she joined him in the living room. Jaemin raised his gaze to the girl in front of him, who had sharp eyes. "Look, Ri, isn't it beautiful?"

"No, it's ugly," the girl snapped. Jaemin's smile faded as his brow wrinkled in confusion. Ri snatched the flower crown from Jaemin's head and tore it in half, widened Jaemin's eyes and dropped his jaw at the flowers that had fallen to the ground.

Jaemin stood up from the couch, his gaze fixed on the flowers on the ground, and took a hesitant step away from Ri, tears in his eyes. Jaemin dashed through the door, leaving everyone who yelled his name behind. Jaemin walked quietly along the pathway into the other residence.

Jaemin sat on the swing and swung back and forth. "Hello," said a voice, causing him to move his head towards it. The girl next door, dressed in a lovely white nightgown, stared at him with a glowing smile. "Jaemin?" the girl asked, tilting her head. Jaemin gave a nod.

"What are you doing here? Isn't it your birthday? "She asked about sitting on the other swing. Her presence calmed Jaemin a little, which he found pleasant and comforting. "I'm sorry, Ri ripped up the flower crown you made me," he dropped his head.
