"Good for you," she said, her voice cynical, causing Yujin's brows to furrow. "Bi-," Yujin began, but the boys' shouts drowned her out. She sat and watched as the tired-looking boys approached. Jaemin took a seat next her, his arm over her waist and his head on her shoulder.
"Do you want some coffee?" Yujin asked, stroking her thumb against Jaemin's hand. The boy on her shoulder shakes his head. "Jeno said I should cut them down," he stated. "How about some ice cream?" "No, I just want to rest "the boy said, his eyes closed.
"Who are you to tell him to cut down on his coffee?" Bi snapped at Jeno, it made the other people at the table flinch. The unexpected and surprise were both felt at the same time. Jeno's brows pinched. "What?" the boy asked, puzzled. "Jaemin, I'll go get one for you".
Their gazes were drawn to Bi's figure as she moved from them. "What is that?" Renjun's eyes were wide when he took Bi's ice cream. "Doesn't she hate vanilla?". Jeno peered into the cup and met Yujin's eyes. "She said she wanted to try something new," Yujin shrugged.
Jaemin swallowed down the lump in his throat as his eyes met Jeno's. Jeno shakes his head and looks at Jaemin, for him not to say anything. "Jeno, outside," Jaemin murmured as he stood up, confusing the other three. "We'll come back," Jeno said as he went towards the door.
"Where is Jaemin?" Bi said as she returned from buying Jaemin's coffee. "Outside," Donghyuck answered. Bi blinked and turned her glance to Yujin. "Jinie, can you accompany me to the restroom?" she said, and the other girl agreed. Yujin got up and walked away.
"Jeno, try and ask Soobin whether he was in Jeju a few days ago," Jaemin said, his brows wrinkled at his mother's text stating Bi had rung the bell this morning since she not have passed the latest security at their door. His mother assumed the eye detector was broken.
"Jaemin," Jeno said, and his gaze went to his. Jaemin was baffled by his friend's pallid look. "Why?" he asked. "Soobin said he hadn't been to Jeju in a few days. And he had never met Bi . "With his eyes trembling, the boy said. "Did she lie to us or -?"
Jaemin stroked his hair as he saw Yujin leave with Bi through the glass. His brows wrinkled. "Later, we'll discuss this. Let's go back in,"he replied as he walked back inside the cafe. Jeno followed along, his mind straying to Bi, who'd been behaving strangely.
"Where did they go?" Jeno asked as he sat in the empty seat. "Restroom," Renjun said. Jeno noticed Donghyuck's puzzled face. "Why?" he asked, concerned. "Does Bi have a tattoo?" he asked, the sight of it still fresh in his memory.
"What?" Jeno replied, his brows pinched. "Tattoo. I saw a lily tattoo on her ankle "Donghyuck said, sitting up in his chair. Jeno's eyes widen as Jaemin's heart stops. Both of them sprung from their chairs and raced for the restroom, Renjun and Donghyuck following behind.
"Yujin!!" Jaemin ran inside the empty restroom, not seeing anyone. "Fuck," he growled, harshly tousling his hair. "What happened?" Renjun asked, his hand on his shoulder. "She's not Bi," Jeno said, walking back and forth outside the restroom.
On his feet, Donghyuck froze. "Na Ri?" he exclaimed. "Isn't she dead?" Renjun asks, his eyes widening. "I think she has them both," Jaemin said as he saw Jeno's gaze waver. "No, no, she can't have Bi," Jeno said, his voice trembling. The sound of Jaemin's phone caused them to startle.
"Put on loudspeaker," Renjun suggested before Jaemin answered the phone. "Hello," Jaemin said. "Hello, baby," purred the voice on the other end of the line, sending chills down their bones. Na Ri's scathing tone. "I miss you," the girl squealed and giggled. "Where are they?"
"Huh? The sluts? Umm in the hell?" The girl sneered, then burst out laughing. "Fuck Na Ri!! Where are they?!!" Jeno snapped as anxiety and images of the past surged through him. Jaemin's eyes have darkened, and veins are begun to bulge from his neck.
"Shut up Jeno, or I'll cut Bi's lovely neck," the girl threatened, making the boy quiver even more. "Jaemin, I miss you. Don't you miss me? ". Jaemin's gaze was fixed on the ground. "Na Ri. I'll kill you if you touch her "He hissed sternly. On the other end of the line, the girl giggled.
"Well, see you in the dream Jaemin,".
