Jaemin walked by a small group of boys dressed in the same uniform as the girls at the café door, avoiding the side look they gave him. "Rich boy, I guess," Jaemin hears one of them say. Jaemin huffed at the comment, giving them a quick glance before walking inside the cafe where he heard the familiar name earlier.

As the coffee shop was pretty crowded, which he expected, as it was one of the cafes, people would always come to visit. "Welcome to Cafe Dream," he heard one of the employees say. Jaemin smiles a bit before glancing around to see if he could find any familiar faces that had driven him crazy in his dreams.

Even in reality, now.

"Hey, mate, what would you like?" Mark, the cashier, asked, catching his attention. "Hi, Mark. Na Jaemin, as usual "He stated this to him as the man behind the counter smiled and scribbled something on the cup he was holding before handing it to the barista.

"Haven't seen you in a long, Jaemin," Mark stated as he took Jaemin's card for payment. "Just a bit busy with stuff," he said, still looking around the café for someone called Lee Yujin. Mark nodded as he completed his payment.

"You know someone ordered your Na Jaemin coffee just now," Mark said, handing him his card back. "Just uh- three people before you, I suppose," he said, but Jaemin was too absorbed in his thoughts to even care

"Oh really? Thank you, Mark "He stated this while giving Mark a simple smile and walking up to the barista counter. Jaemin scanned the large cafe many times, almost giving up since there were so many people. "This cake is really amazing," he overheard several of the customers around saying.

Cake.

As Jaemin moved his gaze to the place where customers may get their cake, his gaze fell on a small figure peering into the cake shelf. His heart rate dropped all of a sudden as he noticed that the outfit she was wearing was similar to the one he saw outside.

After he got his coffee, he moved swiftly through the crowd towards the cake aisle before coming to a halt as the girl turned around and unveiled her face, exactly as he remembered. Her brown wavy hair was pulled back into a ponytail, with a few strands falling over her face.

Her dark brown doe eyes were crimson and full of gloom, but she was simply gorgeous to him. Her gaze is drawn to him for a brief moment before she casts a glance behind him. The girl dashed by Jaemin, who was too astonished to move as Jaemin smelled a peach fragrance from her as she passed by him.

He wasn't sure how long he'd been standing there until a hand touched his shoulder and turned him around. "Jaemin," Jeno said, with Bi right next to him. Jeno was taken aback by the tears that streamed down his friend's cheeks, as if he hadn't noticed them himself.

"Wait a minute, Jaemin. Why are you crying? "asked Bi, who placed her palm on his cheek to wipe away his tears. The sound of Bi's voice pulled him out of his daze. "Am I dreaming, Bi?" he said, startling his two other friends to flinch. "What makes you think that?" Jeno's brow creased.

"Because I just saw Lee Yujin," he replied, looking out the glass at a bus with students hurrying to get inside. Jeno and Bi exchange glances before turning towards the bus.

"I saw her Bi, exactly as she was portrayed in my dream. And I saw her, not in my dreams, but in reality."

"Do you really believe the girl you saw today was Yujin?" his mother asked once again

"Do you really believe the girl you saw today was Yujin?" his mother asked once again. Jaemin nodded as he stuffed the folded clothes into the baggage. "Yes, that really is her. You've asked it ten times already, "He muttered.

His mother heaved a sigh. Concerned about Jaemin getting ahead of himself with a girl who does not exist. "Don't you really think you didn't confuse her with what you saw in your dream?" she questioned once more before continuing.

"Jaemin, it's a dream in which you just build a picture of her in your head," his mother had eventually said after months of keeping it to herself. She thought Jaemin was mature enough to consider this problem in his hands.

Supporting him in everything, including believing in the existence of this girl Yujin. She couldn't keep lying to him any longer. To heal, he must wake up from this long sleep and face the reality. Jaemin was too distraught to speak.

His mother was right; in order to heal, he must accept that Yujin was nothing more than a nightmare to him. Nothing more than an image created by his brain as a result of trauma from the incidents of that day.

Jaemin was oblivious to the tears welling up in the corners of his eyes. "Oh sweetie," his mother cooed as she drew him into her hug to comfort the poor souls. "I'm sorry, Jaemin, but mommy needs to be honest with you," she whispered, caressing his back as he sobbed on her shoulder.

"I know you and dad simply want me to heal," he said between sobs, pulling away from his mother. He grips his mother's frail hands in his with a strong reliance. "I promised you, dad, and myself that I would heal," he added as he hugged his mother again.

"I promise."
