The wind roared through the leaves of the forest, the trees twisted in it and the branches rustled. Tired, the brown-haired boy sat in a meadow in the darkness of the night, surrounded by peace. Besides the sound of the wind and the rustling of the leaves, there was complete silence. Many people would be frightened by this silence, but the man with the brown, soft hair enjoyed it.
He had a difficult relationship with his family. His father despised him, his mother wanted him to be the perfect son, and his sister seemed to hate him as well. Every day he had to watch what he did. Every mistake was noted and punished, by beatings or grounding.
That's why he fled to the forest every night. Here, no one yelled at him, no one saw his mistakes in the darkness or the tears that covered his cheeks. He would prefer to stay here forever.
Deeply inhaling the cold air, he let himself fall backwards into the grass, his gaze slipping up into the sky. But instead of the many stars, his green eyes met the face of a black-haired man grinning at him.
Startled, the younger flinched and wanted to get up, only to be held by a hand on the ground.
"Easy, kid. We won't hurt you," a soft voice rang out, directing the brown-haired man's gaze to a petite boy with pale skin. His hair was curly and a darker brown than the smaller one's, though it was hard to tell in the darkness. What stood out, however, were the man's eyes. They were gray, but there was something in them that the younger could barely describe.
"You've really outdone yourself this time, Karlos. He's cute," murmured the second man, who now again caught the gaze of the boy lying on the ground. Black hair framed a round, handsome face. Dark brown eyes seemed to glow in the darkness and a scar stretched from his lip to just above his right eye.
Both men gazed at the human before them as if he were prey. As they did so, gray soul mirrors radiated softness and curiosity, while brown eyes shone with hunger and certainty.
"Who... are you?" he dared to ask quietly, eliciting a laugh from his counterparts.
"My name is Karl and this is Quackity".
"I like that one, Karlos. Do we keep him?"
The pale man glanced at his companion.
"Keep him? That's the first time I've ever heard you say that""Just look at him," rough hands rest against the cheeks of the boy, who continues to lie on the ground, following the scene before him in confusion. The touch is unfamiliar, yet gentle and loving, so the green-eyed one doesn't flinch away from it.
"You know that's not possible. He has family and-"
"Karloooos," the smaller one whined, squeezing the human's cheeks. "His family is hurting him, you can see that! Look at the bruises and how he's reacting and-"
"Okay okay, relax, sweetie. We can ask him for his opinion."
And with that, both sets of eyes landed on the man who was still lying on the ground. The latter looked back and forth between them, completely overwhelmed, confused with the situation.
"W-what?"
"That's a yes!" the black-haired one clapped his hands excitedly and jumped up. "Come on, let's go home, handsome!"
"Wait, but-"
No backtalk was allowed. Instead, muscular arms encircled the green-eyed one's body and moments later he was lifted up by the smaller one, who was grinning and walking through the dark forest with his friend.
Their destination was quickly reached. A beautiful, large house sat in the middle of the trees. Large, darkened windows hid what was inside and scared the brown-haired one; the man carrying him seemed to notice this.
"Nawww, cutiepie, don't be scared. We won't hurt you~", grinning, he entered the house and left the taller one standing there again.
He looked around with wide eyes. His family earned good money, so he was used to a big house, but the furnishings were so modern and expensive that it almost made him sick to even stand on the sparkling floor.
He flinched sharply when a hand touched his back; the gesture was gentle and reassuring, but the boy couldn't really register that. Instead, he hurriedly took off his dirty shoes and then ran to the next best room that looked like a storeroom to get cleaning stuff from there and clean up his mess.
But already halfway he was stopped by slender arms and pressed against a cold body.
"Shh, it's okay. Relax, sweetie," the calm voice of Karl cooed, tenderly stroking his back.Slowly, the brown-haired man came back to reality. The touch made him soften, forcing him to suppress tears. He had never received such a hug before. He had never had many friends in his life, only online encounters with whom he got along well. Loving touches were never a part of his life, which is why this stranger stirred something in him.
And all of a sudden he was glad that these mysterious men had taken him. Even if he had to work for them or do something else, he didn't care; they gave him attention and... love.

A few days later, a missing person's report was filed for the brown-haired boy. His parents eventually needed him for work at home, because neither of them could cook let alone clean decently.
Sapnap, meanwhile, became happy. Karl and Quackity were always gentle with him, never getting angry with the younger one or bossing him around. This made the green-eyed one feel secure, so he soon opened up to them and told them about his family.
As a result, things changed. The other two men revealed to the brown-haired one that Karl was a vampire and Quackity a duck-hybrid, which Sapnap took well and eventually offered his blood to the taller one.
At the moment the three sat together on the sofa. Outside it was storming, but inside it was pleasantly warm and cozy. A movie was playing on the TV, but none of them paid any attention to it.
Feather-light kisses were spread on the neck of the human, from whom a soft gasp slipped out every now and then. Sharp teeth gently brushed over the delicate skin before sinking into it and the vampire began to drink a few mouthfuls of blood.
Meanwhile, the black-haired one worked on the other side of the neck, covering it with dark hickeys that would surely be visible for several days to come. Hands wandered all over the younger's body, occasionally burying themselves in his brown hair before exploring further.
How they ended up in this situation neither of them really knows anymore. But one thing the green-eyed one knew for sure; how tempting the lips of the two men looked.
He looked pleadingly at the smaller one, whose brown soul mirrors quickly grasped what the slightly taller one wanted from him and grinned shortly afterwards. Quackity could read the younger one like a book. Most of the time he knew how you were feeling before you did. That was something Sapnap admired a lot about the black-haired one.
Hungry, rough lips collided with his own and quickly gained dominance in the kiss, as the brown haired one had yet to gain any experience in such things. So instead he just gave in to the tingling and warm feeling in his body that told him he was doing the right thing.
The kiss didn't last long, because another pair of lips had just detached from his neck and now demanded attention as well, which the smaller one gladly gave to the gray-eyed boy. This one was more affectionate than the man with the beanie, but again the younger one quickly realized who had the upper hand.
And so he sat there, marked and charmed by the two creatures so that he would never leave.
He was their human.
And they were his beautiful creatures.
Until infinity.
